I wrote this a while ago, and since it seems to be nothing but a series of advice, I figured... what the hell? I think I was listening to LeAnne Womack's "I Hope u Dance" at the time because that's what it sounds like.

When u look up at the sky, don't do it just to see if it's raining
When u find it is raining, don't run indoors and hide
When u get your hopes too high, don't say you're overrated
When u walk down door a river, don't be afraid to get your feet wet
When your brand goes out, don't blame it on the wind
When u watch the sunset, don't think the dag is over
When u reach out to help, don't be deterred when you're turned away
When u feel that nothing's right, don't be afraid to make it OK
When u love someone, don't ask them to love u back
When u sing, don't forget to sing it loud
When u smile, don't forget to be proud
When u dance, ignore your two left feet
When u close your eyes, don't forget what u see
When u hate your job, don't hate your life
When u give advice, don't expect them to take it
When u get advice, don't be afraid to take it
When u play a game, don't do it just to win
When u patronize a child, don't forget how young u are
When u disrespect your grandparents, don't forget how old u are
When u hear a robin's song, don't take it for granted
When u lose someone, don't mourn them-- remember them
When u see a bright star, don't be too skeptical to make a wish

And mostly
When u say "I love you," mean it
When u make a mistake, learn from it
When u find home, stay there.
