This humble fan likes Tarrant because he is noble, brave and courageous not mention he possesses a fascinating Scottish brogue as he lapses in and out of a schizotypal personality disability! Johnny Depp's characterization is simply an added bonus!

Each one of Johnny Depp's characters captures my hart-, hart in a different way. I like the Hatter in his own way, he is so sweet and loving. He cares about his vrienden and would do anything to protect them. He is romatic in his own way too, yeah I know he is very crazy looking, but I like that too. I've always liked Johnny Depp's outlandish and outcast roles meer then his normal ones. Jack Sparrow, Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands, Tom Hanson from 21 Jumpstreet. I think the reason why us girls find the Mad Hatter attractive is because he is different. The same goes for Jack Sparrow, and Edward Scissorhands. That is also why Johnny Depps fans love him so much, he's not afraid to try something different, each role he does is unique.

Absolutely not. For the longest time I couldn't understand why girls obsessed with Johnny Depp. This movie opened my eyes, and in a way, made me like them.
I think it's part of the reason I like Tarrant's character. Perhaps I'll find out if I only like him if he's played door Johnny Depp in the sequel Disney's talking about if he's played door a different actor but I highly doubt that it's that. I love his character because he's mad and awesome.
