Chapter 12: Death
I kept running, through the pooring rain. I had been gone for hours, and I had the feeling of hunger. I was too stupid to bring my warm coat, and some food. I actually hadn't been eating lately, because of all the confusion with Cilan.
I looked back, and thunder struck a tree. brand started and limbs broke down, catching the soft gras on fire. I looked in horror at this sight, and felt fear in my eyes. Why did I run away? The brand cirkel started to form around me.
A certain song popped in my head....

I braced myself, as the brand engulfed me, burning away my flesh.
I felt like I was dead, and the thing is, I probably was. Thanks to that jerk Cilan, this happened to me.

Cilan braced himself for what he had heard on the news. About a young girl that was burned to death in a brand a couple of days ago, with maybe no freaking chance of living. It was the girl he loved so much, and protected him, who he should of protected her.
"It can't be...." He zei glued to the t.v. as the news reporter explained what was in her case, an I.D. card that had his ex-girlfriends name on it, Rin Kelson. That name rebounded in his mind. He felt like crying, but Cress told him to not lose his cool. Cilan had later zei that it was all his fault that Rin was burned to death, and his brothers told him differently. All the kids at school comforted him, and slowly he started to lose his smarts. Soon he started getting C's in math insted of A's.
"Class we have a special guest today." The new 11th teacher Cilan had now. "She was lucky to be alive, and happy to be walking today. He hair finally grew back and she got plastic surgery to make her look better. Here she is, Miss Kelson." A girl with short blonde hair, on crutches walked into the room. Her green eyes looked around the room casually. Cilan recognized her right away, it was Rin. Her burns were no longer noticable, but her hair was still stringy like the doctor zei it would. She didn't recognize Cilan at all, put she recognized the younger red head, who had skipped a grade finally.
"Chili!" She zei walking over and giving him a very big hug. Cilan gawked astounded, as she acted like she loved him more. He returned the hug to be nice, but didn't regonize her.
"Hey um don't u remember me?" Cilan asked her, pointing to himself.
"No. Who are you?" She asked walking over to him.
"I'm Cilan, we dated once?" He said.
"Oh, you." She zei with an annoyed voice. "You're the reason I'm like this!"
"I'm very sorry. I feel like killing myself because of that." The blonde blushed, as the older silky green haired boy hugged her tightly. "I'm very very sorry. I had no idea this would happen."
"Appology accepted." The younger blonde zei staying right volgende to him. "It's mainly my fault, so will u be my boy friend again?"
