Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Blink-182/Alkaline Trio\'s Matt Skiba Sings On Andy Black Track
Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack gets some surprising help on his latest solo song, "Stay Alive"
You know and love Black Veil Brides, which means you know and love the band\'s dynamic frontman, Andy Biersack. The guy with the impossibly chiseled jawline is working on a solo release under the moniker Andy Black, and it\'s looking like it\'s going to be amazing: the dude has been in the studio with everyone from My Chemical Romance\'s Gerard Way to Fall Out Boy\'s Patrick Stump.
We got our first taste of the club-ready release last week with "We Don\'t Have to Dance." Now, we\'ve been gifted a follow-up track titled "Stay Alive." It features Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio (now Blink-182 as well) and it\'s much more pop-punk than the first song. Listen to it above.
Alkaline Trio was "the first band that truly resonated to me and, hands down, the artist who had the most influence and impact on me as a songwriter," Biersack told
. "Matt\'s voice helped me through so much throughout my formative stages and to have him come in and sing on a song about survival and the fear that can come from disparity was an incredible experience and one I will never forget."
