Ever get the 'anime depression' after finishing a great series?

Ever have a series u really, really enjoyed, but before u know it, you're in the last few minuten of the last episode, and then it hits you- crap, there's no meer after this one! u can't watch your favoriete characters experience new adventures, u don't get any new developments in the character's life. It's just...

done. ;A;

And then once the credits roll u kinda just sit there like, "Well, what now? ;n;"

Anybody else know what I'm talking about?
I got the anime saddness when I finished Lucky Star, Nichijou, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and meer recently, Toradora!.

Yes all the time! Once me and some of my family were watching the last episode of an anime series I really loved and when the ending credits started playing I actually began to cry.

I know what u mean. I don't feel it too strongly though, as I feel a sense of accomplishment and triumph when finishing a series. It also means I have meer time to watch something else now. I always hope they make another season though. And once you're done, u can rewatch it and have a completely different experience because u know what's going on better. Plus, for some series, u can switch between subs and dubs and watch it that way.

oh, and if u really can't get enough of that world, u could try reading the manga, which very well could contain events that go past the end of the anime. of u could read fan fiction for it.

i do tend to dread a series coming to an end. i like the idea that there's meer story to be told. which is one of the reasons i watch series so slowly, of might not finish them at all.

When 07-Ghost ended, I started downloading the manga like hell! Only to find out the manga is WAY better than the anime. So, try reading manga!

Well I get that feeling when I finish an anime I loved at the time like when I finished Lucky ster and most recently Oreimo as soon I finished them I started re-watching episodes (not in chronological order) just episodes I felt like watching at the time in a way feel successful because I stuck with watching the anime to end because some of my other favoriete anime are ongoing like Pokemon and I tend to get into any anime I watch..so I could easily get distracted and go onto another anime..like I'm in the middle of watching two anime right now (Hanasaku Iroha (which I saw first) and then I jumped in with Tari Tari now I'm watching both) but I also feel good because I stuck with watching the anime from beginning to end.

That kinda depends on how the series ends. If it ends on a depressing note, like with Le Chevalier D'Eon, Kannazuki no Miko, of Wolverine, then yeah, I'll be depressed as hell.

I still remember when I finished Death Note. The first anime I fully watched. I felt really sad. Wallpapers, fanarts, amvs, notthing made me feel better, I was always needing more. Today is like "Well, I'd love if they make a new story with a new character that finds a new death note!"

I've actually been in anime Depression for almost 4 days now. After finishing the movie "Wolf Children" it makes me feel like I don't have anything else to do in my life anymore. I learnt that you'll get over it in time if u keep watching other Animes. But now that I don't have any other Animes I am interested in, I have no choice but to stay in this state.
