What anime was less than your expectations?

Kyoukai no Kanata. Everyone made it out to be the best thing ever, but it bored the hell out of me and I couldn't make it through episode two without stopping. From what I know, Hiroomi is pretty cool though. Only thing about the toon I like is him. Everything else I hate.

Same goes for Noragami, except the character I liked was Yukine. Everything else was kind of "meh" for me tbh
The art/character designs weren't that bad I'll admit tho it was a lot better than knk

Ah, I was hoping I could talk about this pile of human failure again! Dear ol' Kiba: TV Animation. When I saw the backdrops and character models for this show, I thought it would be pretty good. The summary wasn't the best, but I thought that at the very least I would get a solid friendship/fantasy anime. Ha. Ha. Ha. Episode one was the BIGGEST lying teaser that I have ever seen. It was dark, gritty, mysterious, and even a bit scary. The two main protagonists complemented each other perfectly, and the opening was awesome. So, I was pretty excited, and I wanted to see what would happen to the heroes! I wish they both died... 5 episodes later and this toon secured itself as a generic, boring, choppy, dislikable show. Did I keep watching? Of course I did! After episode one at that evil little cliffhanger, I wanted to find out what happened to Noa! And, because this toon couldn't be totally bad so I could save myself from it, Noa was the most interesting and sympathetic character in the ENTIRE show. I cared about him, I wanted him to find Zed, and I wanted him to live normally. But as the series went on, even Noa became bland and annoying door the end of the show. I really had high hopes and I got the worst anime I've seen to date. No, I have not watched Boku no Pico. And I never will.

Arcana Famiglia-At first,I thought it was a cool anime since I like action(kinda)reverse-harem.But then when I watched it,it was too rushed and I got bored after a few minutes.Liberta is just a copy of Naruto and that's why I don't like any of the characters.The fights are lame.(Spoilers!)When Felicita fought his own father in the tournament,all she did was kick,kick and kick.Also,when Liberta and Nova fought,all they did were slashing their swords 'x' style.I was hoping to see meer of their powers,but...no.

Higurashi-I do like it;it's in my top, boven 10 favourite anime.The reason I put it here is because it didn't turn out as good as I expected it would be

I always loved the songs and I always hoped there would be an anime (haven't read the manga though) And when I heard that there was finally going to be an anime I was so happy.

But the story was really confusing with all the flashbacks and it was really hard to get into it in the beginning. But the ending was pretty cool.

I liked the anime but it was just not as good as I thought it would be.

BUT hallo THE SONGS ARE FRICKIN' AWESOME ;D

1. Pretty Rhythm All ster Selection: I expected all the Pretty Rhythm girls to meet each other and hang out with each other, but instead I get a RECAP OF THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE FIRST SERIES!!!!!!!!! D:

2. Non Non Biyori: I read the manga and I was hyped up for it, but the anime was soooooooo boring and so unfunny. I ended up dropping it at episode 3 since I couldn't handle the slowness of the anime.

3. Mitsudomoe. I was expecting it to be a overpowered moe anime that was so cute, it's irresistible. The art style made me watch the first episode. It was clearly the opposite.

4. Hetalia. (Laugh at me all u want) I thought it was gonna be a middle aged anime and there would be fighting the entire 5 minutes. I was scared to watch it, but I finally gave it a go, and, it was completely violence free!

5. Pretty Cure. The name for it. I was expecting it to be a super duper girly anime and all the Cures were into fashion, makeup, dollies, and other girly things. I finally watched it, and it was NOT NEARLY AS GIRLY AS IT SOUNDS!!!!

Fullmetal Alchemist / Brotherhood. The anime community in general is always reveling it as a "masterpiece" and as "the best ever", and it actually did look cool, so I gave it a shot. I personally don't see anything that makes it differ from all of the other mainstream anime series out there. The character development, plot twists, and "depth" tied into the story are all just stereotypical for a Shounen anime series, and I personally don't find it entertaining. I don't hate it, and I actually don't find it to be a bad series per say, but in comparison to some other series I have viewed thus far, I really don't find it to be anything special. I only found it worth the watch due to a certain character. (It was Lust, BTW).

I know what people are going to say: "It has a lot of great meaning, u just need to overlook the genre of the series!" and I'm not going to disrespect that because I understand that it does have its intended depth to a degree but it's not something that I personally find useful for thought....

I actually expected a lot meer from that anime... There was almost no romance and seriously, it was overly dramatic... On facebook, the admin of a page recommended this anime to ANOHANA & CLANNAD lovers... This anime was not even rommel, ongewenste compared to those two... Seeing that post, i really did get all excited over it... I don't think it was as bad as i sound but still, my expectations may have ruined the anime...
