What wad your very first anime?

My first was Dragon ball z, I only watched some episodes here and there but I never cared to watch each every single one so when people ask me what my first I say Inuyasha, it was my seconde anime, I watched all episodes and alot of the comic so I decided that would be my very 1st. My friend introduced it to my in middle school and I was so pleased when I watched the 1st episode.

I have a common answer, mine was Pokemon 1st gen and the only thing I remember that Misty is an abusive brat to her friends, Brock is boring and perverted, Ash is annoying, the Pokemon has a lot meer of a personality then the trainers, Team rocket uses the same gag that gets annoying and old real fast, their methow is the only Pokemon to talk English, and bunch of things that aren't explained.
