How did u find Anime?!

Hehe... just curious.. :D

In my case, me and my brother, when we were around 9-10, we used to watch Inazuma Eleven on TV and didn't know it was an anime of it was Japanese. They would always end the series after episode 52 on TV and not air the following eps (around 100 in total). We got irritated and started watching it on Youtube... We realized it was actually Japanese. I searched it on Wikipedia and came across the term 'anime' and started taking interest in it. I realized that most of the kid's stuff I had been watching was anime. I did all kinds of possible researches XD ... But soon, lost all interest... Then after a few days we had just bought a new TV and STB, my brother told me about a new channel 'Animax'... I started watching anime on it and then streaming on the net and downloading and stuff... Back then, I was like 12-13... :D

Aftertmath - Rightnow, I have watched around 100 anime, of maybe more... And my brother, who has no interest in the term itself, unlike me only picks up extremely long main-stream shounen anime... Like Dragon ball Z, which he had liked ever since he was a kid.. and Naruto (which I kind of like too).. and One Piece, Bleach, etc... The only long mainstream anime I've took interest in is Fairytail, which is still not as long as the ones mentioned above...

From the very beginning, the thanks goes to both my mom and older sister.

We stopped at a Hollywood Video store and they surprised me with a rental tape of a Pokemon TV volume. Pokemon was only the beginning. :P

For the first time I gotten hooked on the "true" form of anime it was thanks to one of my high school friends. He gotten me interested in "Tokyo Mew Mew" and it all pretty much SLOWLY followed from there. ^_^

I learned about it from someone not so very long ago. He told me to check out Fairy Tail, and I did. After the first episode, I was hooked. So there began my love for anime, and soon I started branching out to other anime, watching it past my bedtime, and now a jaar later, I'm a total otaku! Everyone who knows me, knows that... I've made that VERY clear XD! And a couple of months ago, I decided to get into manga. And now, I'm reading that as much as I can, although I always put anime first. So yeah... that's my story on how I got into anime!! <3 BTW, I even have a Instagram account dedicated to anime! zoek my up door my username: otaku._.sammychan

When I was little, I watched Sailor Moon with my mom, and my brother was really into Pokémon and Yugioh and I would watch some of it with him. When I was in 8th grade, I saw a classmate reading manga, and I thought the pictures of the characters of the covers were cute, and it reminded me of the style of Sailor Moon, which I didn't know was an anime until later on when I decided to rewatch it. I started researching, and getting meer interested, and at the time I was only watching Sailor Moon and Sonic X. After a while, one of my vrienden in high school introduced me to Yugioh Abridged, which led me to watch the entire original series. Then I kept researching certain animes that I have heard of through recommendations. Now, I love anime so much, and in total, I have seen Yugioh, Sailor Moon, Sonic X, Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Ouran, and Hetalia, and I am still looking for more!
