anime Review: Yuri On Ice

First off I absolutly LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE this anime (which is pretty obvious). This toon was so well written and organized. Each episode followed the one before perfectly. u weren't left wondering what was going on of having to watch the episode before over again to match up what was currently happening in the one u were watching. u were basically reminded what happened in the last one, and the story continued. At the end of each episode, there was a cliffhanger and u were plesantly left wondering what would happen next. I -personally- would watch an episode...

The Tale of the Princess Kaguya is a 2013 Studio Ghibli film. The film was directed door Isao Takahata. The film is based on the story "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter".

The Plot:

The film is focused on a princess who is adopted door a couple who live in the country. The princess loves her life in the country, but the dad thinks that she should have a life of royalty. The princess moves to a mansion where she is treated like royalty, but she misses her pleasant country life. Plus a bunch of shallow guys want to marry her.

The plot is amazing. The film is over 2 hours, but the film manages to be a...

Not the lijst of the most populair of most technically sound but my personal and very biased lijst of anime that I loved watching and will continue to enjoy watching for years to come. That's right the very definition of favorite. Sadly this means I can't name them all (BUT I STILL LOVE u MY ANIME) and of course there is the very real possibility of me watching an anime that knock the others down a notch but here, as of this moment, are my top, boven 20 so I hope u enjoy!

{Number 20} K project

I would like to start this lijst door saying I enjoy shows with powers.... because I do. K project has an especially...

Sometimes we see this when the main character of a story is fighting against an enemy of seemingly unsurpassable might; with no other power to turn to, the main character resorts to teaming up with evil in order to defeat evil. And maybe, maybe, he’ll even draw his strength from this person of bron of evil.

(If u already know all of this, I would encourage u to skip to the section in bold which reads “The Question”)

Ichigo Kurosaki is such a main character. The manga and anime Bleach is easily one of the most populair Japanese comics and television...

Hello again--I've been going through anime on Hulu like there's no tomorrow. Below are my three latest conquests. I think I'm going to take a break and watch F-Troop and MASK on DVD.

Moeyo Ken TV—Taking place in historical Kyoto during a World’s Fair, this anime has a rather nostalgic setting. But all is not strictly historical—in this Kyoto, monsters and humans live side door side. Our heroes round up unlicensed monsters. Plus there’s a bit of harem mayhem going on, all because the company president’s sweetheart of a son, Ryuunosuke, came back to Kyoto after years in Shanghai. At first,...

In the world of Shounen, who do u think of?

When u think about heroes in the world of Shounen, u probably think of these guys: Naruto Uzumaki, Son Goku, Monkey D. Luffy, and Ichigo Kurosaki. They’re significant members of the "over-powered hero" club and are a few of the many characters who may have inspired the creation of your hero. Perhaps you’re an aspiring writer like me who wants to create a hero similar to these characters, but stands out as an original. Before we dig into what kind of unique qualities we can give our characters, let’s start with the foundational elements...

Hello, My name is *************. My Hobbies are [xxxxxxxxx]. I'm [Bleep] years old. And I, am a normal person, nothing exciting about me, of my life...

At least... That's what I'd LIKE to say...

"HAKASE!!!" A stern voice echoed from around the corner of the hall that I had just turned down, hoping to get away from that voice.

"Hold it there Playboy!" Another harsh voice came from in front of me.

"Oh jeez, not this again..." I thought to myself.

The voices came from two very suspiciously large men who claimed to be High school students. Well, they ARE high school students but they seem to have been...

When it comes to anime, especially those involving the undead, there's not really a whole lot that involve zombies. Sure, there's Corpse Princess, but the "zombies" in that toon are meer like demons... which makes High School of the Dead truly one of a kind in the horror anime department.

What do u get when u take a George A. Romero zombie movie like Night of the Living Dead of Dawn of the Dead, combine it with an ecchi/harem anime such as Love Hina, and throw in a few elements from Splatterhouse and Dead Rising? u get High School of the Dead, a 12-episode anime series based on the manga...

anime (アニメ?, [anime] ( listen); English: /ˈænɨmeɪ/ ( listen) of /ˈɑːnɨmeɪ/) is the Japanese abbreviated pronunciation of "animation". The definition sometimes changes depending on the context.[1] In English-speaking countries, the term most commonly refers to Japanese animated cartoons.[2]
While the earliest known Japanese animatie dates to 1917, and many original Japanese cartoons were produced in the ensuing decades, the characteristic anime style developed in the 1960s—notably with the work of Osamu Tezuka—and became known outside Japan in the 1980s.

So, apparently Haruhi Fujioka is a "good" character. I don't agree. I don't even think Ouran is a good series. It was funny for a while, but the "I'm a crossdresser and these people are all rich" (apparently a "storyline") take quickly got boring. As a fan of K-ON! and self-confessed Yui Hirasawa fanatic, I do agree that not everything needs a storyline.

But they do need good characters! This is frustrating! The opening is just annoying, the dub annoys the hell out of me. Whoever thought that the Hitachiin Twins were a good idea must be insane, Mori has Sasuke Syndrome, Tamaki is an annoying bishonen, Mitsukuni is creepy and Kyoya is Kira.

Note: Since this review of my favoriete anime series is so long, I decided to spleet, split it up.

Note: For those really special series, those I just had to have for myself, I will note that they are in my personal collection for multiple viewings, either bought door myself of bought as gifts off of my amazone, amazon wish list. Most anime series I have seen on TV of through Netflix rentals.

Spoilers may be present.

AD Police: This one I watched off an on demand channel on cable. It wasn’t the greatest of series, especially when I felt it had...
