depends on how much i like the actual show.

well my favoraite charecter in death note - L - , has died before the end of the show , but even thought i hate his death i compleated the show :(

I might not look at the anime the same way throughout but it also kind of depends on how much I liked the actual anime.

I almost stop watching mirai nikki when Akise died, i didn't but the rest of the anime seemed kind of annoying and predictible in my opinon.
But i agree with bubble-gum it depends on the show.

Wow no one chose yes. And here i thought everyone was a diehard fan for their favorite characters to the point that they won't watch it if they died.

Even though it's sometimes necessary to kill off some characters to give the show some serious feeling and move the plot forward, some companies are afraid to do that because people may stop watching the show, but if they have to, the show better have a good plot to keep watcher's attention.

Now why I chose this? Because my favorite characters are usually the main ones or the main one. If the main character died I would stop watching the show but then again, if the main character dies, it's usually at the end so I would have to stop anyway XD

I did that when L died.....but.....that was just because i hate Light....

I did stop watching Death Note after episode 26 happened T^T BUT I did go back and rewatch & completely finish the anime later.... a year later...

and I must say: if Sasuke dies, I am boycotting Naruto. Straight up :/ Sasuke's story and the bond between him and Naruto is the main reason why I watch that anime.
