Not really sure... I like 3 yaoi couples, but two of them aren't canon so I rely on fanfiction lol, and they could go into any genre above. I really like the darker stories, but I have yet to find an actual canonical dark story where I really ship the characters. My favorite canon pairing is NezuShi, which is yaoi borderline.
