So I'm 15, and already I have discovered the sad truth of the world, people hate others. Sure u may be thinking, "Duh! Of course people hate people! What are u stupid?" But, what I mean is that they HATE me cuz of something I believe in, and I am only 15. 15 and people want me dead of thrown out of America, of they want me to be converted of a slave of whatever. I am 15 years old, 15 and people my age want me dead because I'm atheist.

Apparently because of my lack of religion, I am a cold, heartless, soulless person. I am cruel and emotionless, and all opinions I have are false. 13 years...

I had often heard people say that not believing in god requires the same amount of faith as believing.
After that, I was mostly feeling outraged. But it got me thinking. I decided that there is something wrong with equalizing atheism with religion, but not in the way I thought before.

Let me explain.

Atheism - god(s) doesn't (don't) exist
Theism - god(s) does (do) exist

At this point, atheism and theism have made the same number of assumptions about the universe (given that there is no evidence of either).
I can already see some of the believers all smug: "Aha, so not believing requires the same...
