Barbie films Article: Ideas for future Barbie films

Hello! I'm new here and wanted to share this artikel for u <3 I'd love to read people's own ideas in the commentaren below.

1. A movie detailing how Mariposa and Elina met
At the start of Barbie Mariposa, Elina is narrating and it is made clear that she and Mariposa are friends. However, it is never explained how of why the pair know each other. To me, the story of how these two became vrienden seems like a much better Mariposa sequel idea than Mariposa and the fairy princess. I would love to see both return as I adore their characters <3

2. Barbie as Sleeping Beauty
Mattel originally planned to make this movie after zwaan-, zwaan Lake and The Nutcracker. Sleeping Beauty would be the third of Tchaikovsky's ballets that would be adapted into a Barbie movie. This film would have the same classic fairy tale spirit as earlier instalments in the Barbie franchise. It would be a refreshing return to the feeling of seconde generation films (which I grew up with and absolutely love).

3. Barbie unicorns
Mythical creatures are often explored in Barbie movies. For examples, fairies and mermaids. Unicorns have also appeared in the films, but I feel their mythology has never been explored. If Barbie films can be dedicated to animals such as puppies and horses - why nor unicorns. I, for one, would maybe welcome a return to Lila and Odette and the Enchanted Forest.

SilentForce Great article.I love your ideas for new movies.It would be great to see a Elina and Mariposa movie.The reason why Mattel couldn't make the"Barbie as Sleeping Beauty"movie was because they were at risk of getting sued by Disney because Disney has trademarked the name Aurora,which is a huge problem because in Tchaikosky's ballet the name of the princess was also Aurora.However I think that Mattel could still make a"Sleeping Beauty"movie,all they need to do is give the princess a different name(they could call her Rose like they did in the"Barbie as Sleeping Beauty"PC game from 1997).Your idea about a unicorn movie also sounds great.It would be great to see Lila,Odette and the The Fairy Queen appear in another movie. Here are my ideas for future Barbie movies:Barbie in The Wild Swans,Barbie:The Snow Queen,Barbie in Brother and Sister,Barbie as Sleeping Beauty,Barbie in Giselle,Barbie in Beauty and the Beast,Barbie: Snow White and Rose Red,Barbie as Snow White and Barbie as Cinderella.I would also like to see some original old-fashioned princess movies or musicals.

XTinkerBellx I'm not sure what future Barbie movies there could be. I don't mind if the Barbie movies are modern, fairytales, or modern fairtyales.

Sparklefairy375 I love the ideas, especially the Mariposa and Elina one. How if the movie is a prequel? (there wasn't any prequel Barbie movies before). It will be telled about how the Fairytopia and Flutterfield connected together and they both finally met and became good friends.

mhikari Like the Sleeping Beauty idea. (In fact,I wonld like to see more classic fairy tales,like Cinderella or Beauty and Beast.........or a more "tradetional" Thumbelina.Or a Alice in wonderland(maybe packged with Through the Looking Glass,bascilly put the serires into one movie) But....as we all know,I don't think the Mattel will go here looking for ideas.So,my hoping will keep being...just hoping.

pinkydoll I love your idea of Mariposa prequel I would love to see a movie showing that how Elina and Mariposa met.. I would like to see sleeping beauty but tbh I don't think it will actually gonna happen.. Your ideas are really great..I would love to give my idea I want to see a moral filled movie that just win our heart at the very first sight..

3xZ I really like your 'How Elina meets Mariposa' idea. It must be very interesting to know how they met. Both are protagonists and it's the age of crossover now! XD

ultraunique16 I would love more Barbie movies. Mariposa was my favorite. Chiara Zanni did such a beautiful job as her. I wish she was Mariposa again in that fairy princess sequel. If they ever make another Mariposa movie it needs to have Chiara Zanni as Mariposa.

monster7819 They should make Barbie charm school 2 it's great to know what happened after the coronation and everything that should put queen Isabella didn't died she was in another country healing after the car crash and the mother of Delaney's mother broke free of the dungeon and out trying to kill queen Isabella and Blair and Nicholas was getting married they should put this in for shore!!!

BarbieBieber714 Mattel should develop new ideas for making a new Barbie fairytale movie , like I liked your plot and Mattel should give their fans a chance to write a plot or suggest and choose the best script !
