Alaric K. Saltzman is a fictional character in L. J. Smith's The Vampire Diaries series. Alaric is the new, young and attractive and extremely annoying History teacher at Robert E. Lee High School that was in suspicion of being a vampire hunter when he was in fact studying vampires ever since he discovered that they were real. He's an experimental psychologist from Duke University, specialising in the research of psychic powers. His research took a sideways step upon the discovery of the victim of a vampire. He focused his research on vampire victims, becoming the foremost expert in the field. Alaric is good-looking with an athletic build, hazel eyes, and sandy brown hair (which he wears a little long). He has a boyish smile, and Elena observes that he's not really much older than the students in his class. Later on, in The Fury, Elena assesses him to be around two of 3 years older than she is, which would age him at around 22 years old at the top, boven end.

Gandalf is a character in J. R. R. Tolkien's novels The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. In these stories, Gandalf appears as a wizard, member and later the head (after Saruman's betrayal and fall) of the order known as the Istari, as well as leader of the Fellowship of the Ring and the army of the West. In The Lord of the Rings, he is initially known as Gandalf the Grey, but after returning from death as Gandalf the White. As explained in The Fellowship of the Ring, Gandalf spent the years between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings travelling Middle-earth in zoek of information on Sauron's resurgence and Bilbo's mysterious ring, spurred particularly door Bilbo's initial misleading story of how he had obtained it as a "present" from Gollum. During this period he befriended Aragorn and first became suspicious of Saruman. He spent as much time as he could in the Shire, strengthening his friendship with Bilbo and Frodo, Bilbo's heir.

Joffrey is the eldest of Queen Cersei Lannister's children and bastard heir to King Robert Baratheon. He is described as a strong-willed child with a vicious temper and an unchecked sadistic streak. Like his siblings, he is the son of Cersei's brother Jaime, but he is unaware of this and believes he is Robert's son. Robert never questioned Joffrey's parentage, but he was never fond of Joffrey and often ignored him. In A Game of Thrones, Joffrey is betrothed to Sansa Stark. After Robert's death, he is crowned king. He takes as his personal jas of arms the Baratheon black-and-gold crowned stag...

Viktor Krum is a character of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Viktor Krum is a Seeker for the Bulgarian national Quidditch team. Many wizards of his time consider him a prodigy, having entered the International Quidditch League at an early age. He is described as having bushy eyebrows and a hooked nose, which he inherited from his father. He is also described as being meer coordinated on a broom, as he is described as being slightly duck-footed and slightly round-shouldered on land.Despite his success and fame, Krum appeared to be unhappy and lonely, and was further characterised as being very quiet and reserved, though Hermione says he is a genuinely nice person beneath the sullen exterior. In the Quidditch World Cup titel game between Bulgaria and Ireland, he suffers a severe bloody nose during the match and catches the Snitch as quickly as he can to end it, which hands victory to Ireland because Bulgaria was trailing door 160 points at the time.
