I just read a good book called These Things Forgotten door Heather Gudenkauf. She also wrote The Weight of Silence which was also a good book. I'm into classics and I just finished Crime and Punishment which was fantastic, and I always recommend the Mortal Instruments series and amything door Jodi Picoult. I also read the Girl with the dragon tattoo boeken and those were fantastic, but it does depend on your age. They can be inappropriate.

Depends on your age and Genre. My favourite series, which is fantasy based, is A Song of Ice and brand door George RR Martin. They are amazing but they are violent and contain meer adult content. If your looking for vampire / teen based ones, i would advise: The Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead A House of Night - PC Cast (Except the latest one wasn't that good) Vampire Diaries - LJ Smith If u are looking for meer action based, the Percy Jackson series door Rick Riordan is good of The Night Watch door Sergio someone, is quite good.
