Has anyone read "Dark Magic" door James Swain?

It is such a great book! best one I've read in a long time. If you're into Harry Potter, Batman of even CSI, u will get a huge kick out of it!! However, because it involves some nasty, evil magic, I do not recommend it to those who won't be able to tolorate it.
