Bones had been coming in later than usual in that last few days. She had been saying it was because her alarm was not working right, of she had forgot something, but Booth knew that there was meer to what she told. He knew that her father had got out of jail about a week ago, about the time that all of it started. Booth didn't like what he was thinking, maybe Max was hurting her, beating her. He wanted to find out, but this imorning Bones stil hadn't come in at 11:00am. She use to be there at 8:00am. Everyone had tried calling her, over and over again, still not answer.
At 11:30am, Booth got the call from Bones. "Hey, Booth, get out of my office, we have a crime scene to get to." He jumped up quickly, and was in a run to his car. "I'll meet u there." "Bones, waite, why have u been late to work for the last week? Has your father done something to you?" Bones sighed. "No, Booth, we will talk about this later, ok? Over dinner?" She asked. "Sure."
Booth had beat Bones to the crime scene, it was at Washington Park. Once she arrived at the crime scene, she walked over to him, Booth was standing near the pile of bones that had been laying there since Monday morning, and it was Tuesday. What? not one had the nerve to call anyone and tell them that there were a pile of bones where there kids play? "Looks like it is a young female, about 9 years of age, but I won't know anymore until we get the bones back to the Jeffersionan." Booth nodded. "Ok, guys, load'em up and take'em to the Jeffersionan." The FBI came over and collected all of the things that Bones told them to collect. "Booth, I'll be right back." He nodded, but watched her closely.
Bones walked back to the little river that was down a little ways from the park. He followed behind her, he knew that it was cold, and if she got into the water then, something could really happen to her, and thats just what happend. Max, Bones' father, was there, he pushed her into the water. Booth tried to catch him, but it was no use. The first thing he thought of was to pull her out of the water, and thats what he did. She must of hit her head on something, because she was unconsious. He dialed 911.
