Booth waltzed into Brennan's office and leaned casually against the door. His breath caught in his throat as he saw how the flourescent light glanced off of her sleek nut-brown hair. She didn't notice him standing there, too wrapped up in what she was looking at on her computer. Booth snapped himself out of his reverie. What was he doing? He couldn't have her. Brennan arrived at Booth’s apartment that evening. They had no case that dag and therefore, she had not seen him.

‘Usually he calls when we don’t see each other all day’ she thought suspiciously.

Monday morning, bright and early, Brennan entered the Jeffersonian Institute.
