I didn't want to watch Angel because I didn't like him so much on Buffy. It took finishing Buffy and my friend tempting me with her Angel DVDs for me to finally break down and watch the whole series. Angel really comes into his own when he has his own show. He's so much more than the broody distant guy he was on Buffy, whose only connection to anything was Buffy herself. In Angel, he has first Doyle, then Cordelia, then Wesley, Gunn, Fred... He has a family, which is what he so desperately needed, and what was, I think, the thing that made him so much better on his own show.

I totally agree with this! I grew to appreciate Darla in the flashbacks on BtVS (and disliked her when season 1 first aired...even though now I wouldn't say I dislike her when I rewatch season 1, I just think she's nothing special)... but I thought she was AMAZING on AtS!!!

I also think the scene from Beneath You is really powerful and emotional- but I don't cry when I see it. I cry during A LOT of BtVS scenes, but that's not one of them.

And I definitely disagree about Angel. I LOOOOOOOOVE him on both BtVS and AtS. I always saw him as the same character on both BtVS and AtS (unlike Darla who I liked much more on AtS). I never found Angel boring... he was always one of my favorite characters.

I have to say I'm not in complete agreement with this choice here, mainly because I did love Darla in Buffy as well as Angel. Darla is one of my all-time favourites. Nice questions sweetie!

I obviously agree with all of these I made the picks duh! but out of all my opinions I agree with this the most so on any of my other comments realize that the one I picked is the one I agreed with the most! :)

I actually disliked Angel more on Ats than I did on Buffy. And I loved Darla just as much on Ats as I did on Buffy.
