Where do I put my cat when I go to holidays?

I am very close to getting a cat, which would be a wish come true, but there is just one problem; I like to travel. All my vrienden and relatives have a cat of won't be ready to care for one of live 100km away. I wouldn't like to make my cat go a cat hotel. Do u have any ideas? Solutions? Please help because I'm desperate!
