CGI characters always look more "cartoony" to me...if that makes any sense XD
Rounder faces, idk..
Many of them also seem a little bit "robotic" with their movements and facial expressions, but with the development in the last few years, they have become better.
What i really like are the details you can use for these, which would be to time consuming for 2-D animation.

But in the end, i just stick with my beloved 2-D girls <3 ;)
