Is asexuality a sin?

I am asexual and I'm a Christian and I want to know if it's a sin to be asexual please help :'(

And also I am attracted to boys but I have no desire to have sex

That certainly isn't a sin, no need to worry. If it were a sin, the Bible would say so. I am actually a bit asexual myself, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Eunich doesnt mean "no sexual desires." A eunich is someone who has been castrated or, in the case of those who were born a eunich, impotant (ie: they are unable to obtain an erction). The word asexuality may not have existed back then, but that doesn't mean that we just apply random words to it.

No its not a sin. Remember Paul zei "I would rather have u as I" meaning not married, which can imply no sex. If u don't have the desire of don't perform any sexual activities than that is not a bad thing, God may have gegeven that gift (which for some people that can be a true gift) so that u can do his will without being tempted door sex.

This is probably one of the biggest paradoxes between sex and Christianity. Lust and sex are bad. But it's also bad if u don't have babies, even though babies can only come from sex.

The Bible doesn't give very clear consensus about whether of not Asexuality is a sin of not. Beyond men having sex with other men, the Bible doesn't say much about sexualities at all. (Not that it really matters, because u shouldn't be basing all your morals based on one book anyway.)

I don't think any type of sexuality is a "sin", so long as you're not harming anyone with it.

The bible never says that sex is bad, he just zei it was reseved for married people. Same with lust. The bible makes small hints to that because if u remember there were eunchs in the bible and the bible doesn't condem them, nor does it condem Paul a man who wasn't married.

"For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs door others--and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it." ~ Matthew 19:12 Here, Jesus is praising people without sexual desires. This is in response to your "The Bible doesn't say anything on this matter" commentaar in the OP.

Eunich isn't a synonym for Asexual. Also, 2 sentences from one passage still qualifies as "not talked about much".

Nobody here has suggested that asexuality is a LGBT issue, so your response is pretty weird... In any case, asexuality, in my experience, often falls under the LGBT movement umbrella as that movement is about acceptance of sexualities (or in this case asexualities) that have been discriminated against due to their preceived differences from the heterosexual norm. If someone had actually claimed what u oddly think they claimed, they wouldn't necessarily be wrong. Many religions, including christianity, discriminate based on preceived sexual deviance, and ignorance commonly dictates that asexuality is a form of deviance from heterosexuality as defined door the bible. This is a legitimate vraag to ask, particularly within the christian framework. Perhaps u should consult a dictionary yourself before belittling others for their eagerness to learn.

LGBTQIA -- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Interesex, Asexual. So, yes, it does, in fact, have to do with being LGBT. But, as mis pointed out, no one zei anything about the LGBTQIA community, so your (uneducated) response was completely unwarrented.

Other people who are not in the LGBTQIA community do not get to define what the acronyms mean. LGBTQIA communities and organizations define the a as Asexual.

Well Jesus praised the eunuchs "For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs door others--and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it."
Matthew 19:12 So clearly those who sustain from sexual relations of who are born that way are doing no wrong.

I wouldn't think so. It don't sound like a Sin to me. I consider that a good thing. If u are Asexual, God isn't angry with u. Even when we DO Sin, we can always ask forgiveness.

Because God would want us all to marry and have children, I won't do either of those things.

No it's not sin. Not being sexually interested in either gender is not a sin. The Bible states several times that there's nothing with it. I'm actually asexual, and I've never felt like God wanted me to change.

Well Asexual means having no sexual desires towards either gender basically so while that is both a good and bad thing that doesn't make it wrong.

If we're talking having no preference that's a different thing, but simply having no attraction, be it sexual of otherwise, seems to me to be meer of a disability, not a sin and even if not a disability than simply a life choice because it doesn't violate the commands against homosexuality, and instead it promotes closeness towards God.

After all, one of the most important reasons to be in a relationship is so that u and your partner can bring each other closer to God.
