It symbolizes both to me. When the rainbow is artificial, has thicker stripes, isn't curved, and very vibrant colors it speaks more 'gay pride' to me. But when it's a natural rainbow and not a flag, it reminds me of God.

^so the actual pattern is gay pride to you, but the arch with that same pattern is God's covenant. Interesting choice of words using "artificial" and "natural".

Everytime I see a rainbow, I think of God's covenant, and I love how that reminds me of it. :)

Much like Shaowvixen, it's both for me (well, all three, really). Depending on where I'm at when I see it, and how it looks defines the symbolism.

I picked 'gay pride' because that's usually the first thing that comes to my mind when I think 'rainbow. symbol'
