Chucky

One franchise that appears to have been drilled in the ground is CHILD'S PLAY, which last saw Chucky on the big screen back in 2004 with the release of SEED OF CHUCKY. Nearly four years later, creator Don Mancini is hard at work penning the remake for the film (that he'll also direct), which kicked off back in 1988 with a killer who transfers his soul into the body of a Good Guy doll. We've broke a whole bunch of stories here on B-D, and today we had the chance to have a few meer vragen answered... like what will change in the remake, including Chucky's design. Instead of making a sequel to follow Seed of Chucky (2004) as originally intended the producers decided it was time to return Chucky to his horror roots instead of the comedic side which took control over 'Seed Of Chucky'. The only way they felt this was possible was to "reboot" the franchise with a remake of the original that was darker and scarier than even the original had been.

Nothing has been confirmed, all thats known is that its being made. However, because Don Mancini, writer of the original movie is attached, we can guess it may stick fairly close to the original.

SEED OF CHUCKY:_______Glenda appears late in the movie as an another soul that shares Glen's body. Glenda is possibly meer twisted than her father and has his red wild hair . Her apperarance is Glen in wedding japon, jurk and has makeup on. Glenda makes her apperarance when Jennifer Tilly's assistant, Joan, in concern of her boss, attempts to help her, but she is killed door being sprayed with fire. When it seemed that Tiffany did it, it is revealed that it was Glenda (it is revealed two souls share Glen's body, shocking both of his parents and himself after Tiffany snaps him out of it). BRIDE OF CHUCKY:__________On a stormy night, Tiffany talks a cop into stealing Chucky's remains in a bag from an evidence vault. While speaking to him on the phone, she warns him not to look into the bag. When he does, she shows up from behind him and slits his throat with a nail file. She takes the bag containing Chucky's remains and takes it to her trailer where she puts him back together using new doll parts. She then resurrects his soul door using a book called Voodoo For Dummies.

Later, after she gets reacquainted with Chucky learns that what she thought was an engagement ring he had left...
