Is Danny messer's halsketting, ketting a medical tag of something else? I know the one is his rind but what is the other one? Plese help!!! It is driving me crazy not knowing!!! :)

I beleive they are too, since in one episode when Danny has bad back pain, he goes to a accupunture, and then gets those, along with a few other items stolen. He calls Linsday and says "my grandfather's tags were stolen."
