We all know it isn't true, Elena knows it isn't true deep inside but she'd rather idealize him and the relationship they had because how hard it is to admit that the guy you held as your personal savior when your parents died abused you, lied to you, manipulated you and wanted every memory of you erased? Seriously, look at it from her perspective.

the difference being that stefan didnt deserve her praise, all he ever did was treat her like a broken toy. but she was most certainly in the wrong here, that i'll agree with.

@charmeddexter with all do respect, this club is a Damon & ELENA fanclub, and some of us here love Elena just as much as we love Damon & DE. I know you don't like Elena, and I respect that, but this fanclub is also about her, so please don't bash her here :)

idk why people got so mad at this, Stefan can be the "perfect" guy but love has nothing to do with perfection. When you fall in love, you can't control what you feel and you don't choose a guy just because he is the most perfect one, Elena loves Damon despite all his flaws while she can't see Stefan as a person who has, she idolizes him. tell me, is that good? of course is not, that's not true love, Elena only loved the good side of Stefan, she never loved him in an unconditional way like she does with Damon ;) I wasn't pissed at all, it's not a big deal

@thisthat12: THANK YOU. Elena is not perfect, but she doesn't deserve all the hate. Damon is not perfect, Stefan is not perfect...no one is. I love Elena, I love Damon, I love them together, but I don't put them on a pedestal. I'm not a Stefan fan, but I don't hate him either. But that's my opinion.

yes, elena did do some things wrong, but at least she felt guilty about it.
