okay, first I want to say something, I know that most of you will probably find this question a tad offensive. and yes, it is in many ways. and im sure you are wondering why I would write such a harsh question. its simple really. ever since season one, stelena and Stefan fans have been constantly going on and on about how Damon is so terrible and an evil bastard for doing what he did to Jeremy. was he an evil monster for doing it?? well of course he was! was it wrong what he done? yes! its was terrible. but im going to say this once and for all, what damon did was awful, but atleast he had an excuse for his actions. damon was a bastard yes. but soon as he realized what a terrible mistake he had made...he instantly set into motion his plan to achieve redemption from his transgressions. he didn't wallow in self pity or guilt. he took this terrible situation, and turned it on its head. he made a negative situation a positive. and he grew so much as the seasons went on.

and as for Stefan...well what can I say, just the mere fact that he constantly criticized his brother, whilst he continued to commit some of the worst atrocities known to human kind is bad enough, but to take revenge on his enemy, and use the girl he claimed to love so much to do this, is the most despicable and inhuman act that he ever could have committed. its not only that he was trying to make her hate him, its that he did this in the very same spot where her parents met their end, and where she almost lost her life due to drowing in the lake. I mean, ..he KNEW what the consequences of this horrific act would be. he knew the terrible trauma that this girl had faced. and he showed ZERO remorse for his actions. he left her by herself to walk home without a phone for crying out loud. he allowed her too be alone on a dark cold night. without any aid or assistance. poor elena. I cant even imagine how I would have reacted had I been in her shoes. am surprised that stefans action didn't end up destroying her. not once did he apologize to her, not once! how could he be so cruel and selfish?? surely their where other ways to make the residents of MF hate him. this was a complete step too far.

and so all that's left to say to all those stelena and bamon fans out there think that damon is evil for what he did to Jeremy, I ask you this, take a good long look at both brothers and ask your selves, who is the REAL bad guy here. because as far as I can see, when it came down to it, damon was the one with balls to admit that what he did was terrible, Stefan couldn't have cared less, so I ask you again, who is the real monster here??

They are both bad but when Damon snapped Jeremy's neck, Elena didn't talk to him for almost half of the season, but when Stefan almost killed Elena, it was completely forgotten a few episodes later.

i know. that angered me so much. how could she forgive him?? i dont know if i ever would have been able too speak to him ever again.

It was beyond cruel and he got away with it so easily. Still don't understand how anyone could ship SE after that
