I started watching because I love supernatural type shows and vampire shows.

Because I love Ian and I knew he was gonna play Damon

I watched it just to make fun of it at first. Then I realized it wasn't so shallow and depth-less as I thought it would be. I continued to watch for Bonnie, and Jeremy. The Stefan/Elena pairing was all too predictable, just plain awful, and familiar, after being a Buffy addict for 7 years.

Around episode 5-6 I started loving Delena and stuck around for them. Nina has really started to own her character as well, and then I had another reason to watch :]

Caroline/Matt bore me. Jeremy/Vicki, I loved D: But I only really watched for Damon/Elena/Delena/Tyler scenes/Bonnies power progression/Jer and Vicki scenes.

And now I'll watch for - Damon/Elena/Delena/Tyler scenes/Katherine! The rest of the story-lines are blah.

I was bored and I thought I'll give it a try and I fell in love with this show, I couldn't imagine it can be such a good show, cause I hate Twilight saga which is really boring and emotionless imo. I'm a big fan of Damon since 'Hello brother' so I guess, no, I know that I watch the show because of Damon at first place, but I love Delena too. <3

....because the plot line seemed interesting, because i love vampire movies and because of the cast...thus Ian Somerhalder:)

Because of Ian (and Damon) plus Nina is actually born in my city so... I was curious to see her.

I watched it at first because I read the books and I knew the show was gonna be better. I wasn't wrong. The show is better. truth be told Damon was the only thing that Interested me in the books. so I guess Damon would be my reason. I fell in love him then and TVDamon is sooooo much more. Ian makes him alive and better then Book!Damon ever way. He's the best. ♥

I didn't want to watch it because i thought it was like twilight (which it's not) but my mom said it was really good so i watched it and got hooked.Plus Damon is so HOT!
