Episode 1.02 – The Night of the Comet: Elena and Damon meet for the first time at the Salvatore house and his revelation about Stefan's past brings Elena closer to the truth.

Episode 1.03 – Friday Night Bites: During dinner, Damon and Caroline unexpectedly show up, and Elena "invites" him into her house.

Episode 1.04 – Family Ties: Damon tells Elena about the history of the Salvatores after Stefan tries to cut Damon out of his life.

Episode 1.06 – Lost Girls: Damon goes to Elena’s house looking for Stefan.

Episode 1.07 – Haunted: Elena is unable to console the grieving Jeremy and asks Stefan to use his powers to make sure her brother does not remember what happened. When Stefan tells her he is unsure of it working effectively, Damon volunteers to "take away his suffering.

Episode 1.08 – 162 Candles: Jeremy stops doing drugs and putting off homework after Damon alters his memory of Vicki's death. Elena asks Damon if there is anything else that he did to her brother but all Damon says is that he "removed the suffering".

Episode 1.09 – History Repeating: Damon tries to kill Bonnie after the crystal is destroyed.

Episode 1.11 – Bloodlines: Damon's arrival causes the mysterious stranger to flee, and Damon frees Elena from her overturned car. Damon brings Elena with him to Georgia to see Bree, a witch and an old flame of Damon's, hoping she can help open the tomb to free Katherine. Bree calls Lee, Lexi's boyfriend (as Lexi was her friend), who wants revenge on Damon. Elena saves Damon, and he kills Bree after she tells him to find Emily's spellbook.

Episode 1.12 – Unpleasantville: Elena calls Stefan and Damon answers his phone. Damon, Elena and Stefan try to figure out how to kill the new vampire in town. Damon invites Elena to dance.

Episode 1.13 – Children of the Damned: Damon interrupts Elena and Stefan in bed. Damon reminds them he can be trusted then leaves. Elena helps Stefan as he and Damon race to find the missing journal that belonged to Elena’s ancestor. Damon finds Elena and Stefan there after they dig the Grimoire up from his father's grave. Damon takes the book.

Episode 1.14 – Fool me Once: With the help of Bonnie and Grams, the tomb is opened and Damon realizes that Katherine is not inside. Stefan warns Damon that the seal of the tomb has only been temporarily broken, and Elena helps them both escape in order to not be sealed in forever. Out of the tomb, Elena sees how upset Damon is and comforts him.

Episode 1.15 – A Few Good Men: Elena helps Damon get dressed. Elena finds out that Damon “killed” her mother. Damon get the clue from Elena he may have killed her mom, Isobel.

Episode 1.17 – Let The Right One In: At the Salvatore’s mansion, Damon and Elena argue about Pearl. Damon contacts Elena and they both realize that Stefan is in trouble. Damon and Elena under the rain. Damon doesn’t want Elena involved in the rescue. Elena decides to make her way into the house and Damon has to save her.

Episode 1.18 – Under Control: She asks, he comes. It’s easy like that. Damon and Elena chat at the party about Stefan and Jeremy.

Episode 1.19 – Miss Mystic Falls: Damon explains to Elena that Stefan is in bad shape and can screw up everything if he doesn’t get his blood lust under control. Elena is finally called, but since Stefan is nowhere to be found, Damon steps in and they begin the introduction dance. Damon and Elena lock Stefan in the cage in the basement.

Episode 1.20 – Blood Brothers: As Stefan tries to come to terms with his past, he and Damon reveal pieces of their history to Elena, including the truth about how they were turned into vampires. Stefan and Elena return to the house and Stefan seems to be cured of the blood-craze but Damon doesn't seem happy about it.

Episode 1.21 – Isobel: Damon and Elena talk on the phone. Alaric tells the brothers and Elena that her mother wants to know her. Damon tackles Isobel to the floor and tries to throttle her. Elena tries to convince Damon to give her the device. Isobel knows better: “‘Cause he’s in love with you.”.

Episode 1.22 – Founder’s Day: Damon jumps in front of Bonnie and waves to Elena. Elena tells Damon that Stefan is worried about her friendship with him. Damon tells Elena how he feels about her and they kiss but the girl is not Elena but Katherine

WTF? who the hell picked Miss Mystic Falls? you`ve gotta be kidding me, people. like..seriously? that episode deserves to be in the TOP 3..there`s no doubt! oh, well. i know everyone has their own opinion,but..it`s getting crazy at some point, don't you think?

ANYWAY. i`ll go with history repeating this time. the whole episode was just..BAD. damon`s trying to kill bonnie in the front of elena? NO WAY.

I mean it's an amazing episode and like you said it deserves to be in the top 3 <3 All the Delena fans love this episode.. ok maybe for some of them it's not the #1 but stil Miss Mytsic Falls Vs. History Repeating or Unpleasantville loooool xD

wasn't great for them really.....

This was a bad episode for them, especially the moment Damon tried to kill Bonnie.
