	Crystasorrow picked elena gets hurt in the process of trying to help him..he'll have to save her: I think if something like this were to happen, it could prove to Elena that Damon's feelings for her are truly powerful and that he would be trying to fight it for her. I don't imagine Damon would like the sight of Elena being hurt. I feel the same scenario could possibly happen around Katherine...if say Katherine wants Elena out of the way and threatens to hurt/kill her, I'd think Damon would take that bait and be pushed to protect Elena. Damon obviously thinks of Elena as 'his only friend' as of now, although Alaric could be considered a decent buddy down the road too. Damon threatened Isobel for 'threatening people he cared about' and 'going after Elena' so I would imagine that he would protect her from Katherine as well, as much as he could. posted een jaar geleden.
