People really think Bamon are a threat? Come on! SE is CANON therefore THREAT.

Elena/Elijah, Bamon, Tyler/Elena, Matt/Elena and Rose/Damon are either AU or one of the people in the couple is dead, therefore NOT a threat. Either way, no couple is a bigger threat than SE, seeing as the show is about them and DE.

SE is the only obstacle that stands in the way of Delena since their actually a pair

Stelena Vs. Delena triangle will always be the opposing ships to one another.

Bonnie/Damon r AU (fact), so not a threat.

Elijah/Elena is an AU ship too, but who Id want Elena with if she somehow didnt end up with Damon, tho Im confident that she will. E/E do have good chemistry.

Rose/Damon was ok, tho I didnt really see any chemistry at all. She's gone (which I have mixed feelings about), so she's no rival.

Katherine/Damon may be *hot* together, but that ship has sailed, especially the progress Damon has made in putting his feelings for Kat behind while K's thoughts r elsewhere. No rivalry here.

Caroline/Damon arent even close to being DEs rival ship, but I would like to see a true friendship with them.

Matt/Elena r high school first love & that's it. The only way I could see them as a threat/rival ship to Delena would be if Elena chose to be happy as a human & move on with Matt as the best option, but otherwise, not even close.

Tyler/Elena is a bit random, but itd be cute. Dont see them happening, so dont see them even remotely as a rival ship for DE when T/E have only had 2 or 3 scenes thus far.

Bamon? Seriously? Bamon? Lol. No competition.
