Stefan confronted Damon on what Kat meant when she zei she fooled one of them. (love this scene!) "We kissed" . Elena has to get in Stefan's way to keep him from beating up Damon.

As it stands right now, Stefan is no longer in the picture. He's ran off to kom bij Klaus to keep Damon alive. Damon, played door Ian Somerhalder, will have to save his brother volgende season, but will he take the opportunity to steal Elena, played door Nina Dobrev, away from his younger brother.

Stefan looks at Elena like any normal guy who loves their gf would. However Damon looks at her like she's something soo precious and she too good for this earth (1x19, 2x01,2x04 etc)

I've also noticed when Damon looks at Katherine, his eyes are searching...searching for something he can't find. Think of the SE hugs where Elena was looking at Damon of how she totally jumps in shock when Stefan walks in on them together. Like she was caught red-handed stealing from a cookie jar. I still love Elena`s face when she kissed Damon. She smiled and it was so pure, sincerely. She felt in side of her hart-, hart that she really needs to do it and she understood that she CAN!
