well that's y stefan should just back way from elena, forgets her and hook up with bonnie they perfect for each other (because i hate them both)and let elena be with who she really belongs with which is damon

Yes, they were such close brothers.

There is no such connection between them now, not as strong as before but I think it's not only Katherines fault. Also the things that changed their relations are that Stefano was the one that made Damon dring blood for the first time- if he wouldn Damon probably would die without doing it and also the person Stefan became after changeing. He was the badass back then, Not Damon. HE got bitter with time
