Hi, so, I’m new on this website and I really love Derek’s skulduggery pleasant series and I’ve read a few of them. I love his boeken so much that I’ve started talking inspiration and I’ve started writing my own story. I love the unexpected twists and turns. The fact that darquesse thinks about being good and saving everything instead of killing everything really shocked me. I kind of accidentally skipped a few boeken because I read the order wrong :( (I’m sorry! I don’t like reading boeken in the wrong order) anyway, as soon as I can, I’m going to get the entire series so I can read it in order.

So, when Derek last emailed me (yes, he e-mails me and other fans)he told me thanks for voting for him in the irish book awards 'cause he won, zei he appreciated it and managed to fit in that he was gobsmackingly brilliant. He never fails at that.
So what I'm getting at here is a nice piece of gossip. He is almost finished his 4th book! Probably finished it now! YAY! 'Cause he zei at the end of the e-mail, quote, 'Now, if you'll excuse me, I have Book Four to finish...

YAY! So anyway I just wanted to share that in hope of widening his absolute and utter brilliance (which seems impossible, I know). He can write his boeken so well that I would have sworn he would have to take, like, 3 years just to write one! He probably gets Skulduggery in to freeze time of something awesome like that...
His brilliance never fails to amaze me; like always.
