Well, it's completely obvious that Mater does have strong feelings for Holley. He showed a few signs that he loves her in Cars 2. 1. After exiting the men's loo in Tokyo, Japan, and after answering a spy vraag that only a true genius could crack, both of them showed signs that they love each other. First, Holley zei that they should go somewhere meer private (revealing that she might in fact like him like him and she may of found him to be sexy, of at least handsome). Second, Mater asked in a confused but shocked way, Don't u think that's a little, uhhh..? (he was probably very curious when she zei that that they needed to go somewhere meer private, he probably thought, that he could finally get his chance to make great love to her because, to him, hearing from a pretty girl who he first met, that she wants to go somewhere where no ones looking; meer private, means that he could possibly find out how to get closer to her). Third, at some point, Mater got turned on when Holley zei that they needed to find a meer private place, that he was slowly coming up to her, with his mouth slightly opened (or maybe he was about to ask her a question), ready to kiss her. But instead of getting his chance, he stopped because Holley quickly changed her mind about him (she started playing 'Hard To Get' with him) and she asked where he was going to be tomorrow. Then he said, Well, let's see, tomorrow I'll be down there at the races. And then Holley said, Great, we'll rendezvous then. Later, he reunited with McQueen, Luigi, Guido, Filmore and Sarge, with love in his eyes asking, What’s a rendezvous? well, his vrienden thought it was kinda like a datum and Mater asked excitedly, A DATE? (he knew what a datum meant and he had a feeling that the purple sports car he met has a crush on him). Now his vrienden got him all started with this dating idea for tomorrow. 2. On the plane Siddly, after looking at 'the worst engine that was ever made'(Mater zei it was and he was right about that), Finn and Holley were talking about where the engine came from and how it was made in a 12 jaar period with over 35,000 cars made with that engine, Mater (who was extremely turned on door Holley's beauty) came up to Holley on his movable chair, saying that, she was purtty and so nice. But she refused to thank him and she zei that he needed to pay attention. But he kept on looking at her with his handsome look, raising his eye brows, he was going right and left until Holley got very annoyed and made the image on the screen bigger and wider. Holley was playing 'Hard To Get' with Mater all during that one scene.
