9.Pocahontas
First of all, Belle is too grounded to care about the colors of the wind lyrics of the spirits of the wind of the voices of the moutain. Belle would think Pocahontas is sort of foolish and dumb. Belle would hate most of all Pocahontas' indecisiveness, and would get frustrated when she's reading the compass in front of Grandmother Willow. They're just two totally different worlds, and Belle wouldn't like Pocahontas' personality and wouldn't really care about her actions. They just have no common ground.
8.Rapunzel
Belle would find her stupid and annoying. She wouldn't find her cute, just irritating and too naive. She would have a hard time relating, and wouldn't like that Rapunzel is trying to force herself to be happy in the tower, and would think Rapunzel is stupid for going out of the tower with Flynn instead of on her own. And all the scenes of her being indecisive would annoy her too.
7.Snow White
Belle would be mostly tolerant of Snow White and think she's cute, but other than that have no real connection to her.
6.Mulan
The same as Snow White. Belle would admire Mulan and understand a little about being an outcast in the town, but would not understand why Mulan tried to make herself fit in. Belle would be angrier at Mulan's family and the town for not accepting her for who Mulan was rather than being angry at Mulan.
5.Tiana
This would be the start of the princesses Belle truly likes. Belle would love Tiana's personality and maturity, and would like how Tiana deals with Naveen. And she would love how Tiana doesn't try to fit in with the norms. But she would find Tiana a bit boring at times, and too rational, and she wouldn't admire Tiana. She would only relate to the similarities between them.
4.Aurora
She's just like the fairy-tale princess Belle reads about in her book. She would love Aurora's responsible and kind nature, and how she treats Phillip, she would find Aurora very romantic, dreamy, and interesting.
3.Jasmine
Belle would really love and admire Jasmine's personality. She would love how she's stubborn, and doesn't let herself get walked over, and how smart and fiery she is. She would love how unjudgemental and kind she is. However, she wouldn't relate to jasmijn a lot, and would not like how she falls for Aladdin; Belle would not put up with Aladdin the way jasmijn would.
2.Ariel
I know a lot of u will disagree with us, but all 5 of us agreed Ariel would be high on Belle's lijst (including Jonna, who has Belle first), so please be open-minded. Belle is close to her father, and feels that is the one thing holding her back from leaving, and having adventure, her closeness to her father. Because Ariel isn't close to her father, she would understand why Ariel left. Belle would wish she could have that as well. I don't think Belle would find Ariel's actions so stupid, because Belle probably thought and dreamed of doing a similar thing. . I think she would see her as determined and going for her dreams, and wish she could be in her place (but at the same time not want to lose her closeness to her father at all). She would love that Ariel gets the chance to have this opportunity. Belle would also love how Ariel was odd but kept her confidence about her, and would love Ariel's sneakiness and personality overall. Belle would wish she could be in a situation that she could leave freely without guilt, like Ariel.
1.Cinderella
Belle would love every aspect of Cinderella's story and her personality. She would love cindy's calmness, her kindness, her type of intelligence and humor. She would find the story romantic, and love to see her rising above others who would bring her down. She would love the type of person Belle is, and her attitude of staying positive despite her situation, since Belle gets upset about hers. There's just nothing about Cindy that Belle wouldn't like.
