Here is my fifth article! I decided to write two lists about my favoriete singing voices, this lijst is the english voices, the volgende one will be with their swedish voices (same goes for their speaking voices which I will do after the singing voices) because swedish is my first language and I grew up with most of the swedish versions of the princesses (except for Tiana and Rapunzel). For the swedish version I will post linken to videos so that u can choose a favoriete aswell. Image credit goes to Elemental-Aura for the beautiful top, boven image and princesslullaby for the rest of the pictures.

10. Pocahontas (voiced door Judy Kuhn)
I have never liked her singing voice, it dosen't suit her at all and I don't like voices that sounds like it's a man that does the voice because a woman should sound like a woman not like a man. The only thing that I like about her voice is that it's a very powerful voice.

9. Aurora (voiced door Mary Costa)
When I first heard the english versions of the songs in the movie, I was surprised that her voice sounded so old and she was supposed to be 16 and her voice actress was 16 when she did the voice. The only reason to why I like it better then Pocahontas is that she sings opera and I love opera.

8. Belle (voiced door Paige O Hara)
She sounds too old, but her voice is better then the other two because it sounds similar to my own and because it's a very pretty voice, but if they choosed someone younger I would like her voice better.

7. jasmijn (voiced door Lea Salonga)
I think her voice is pretty, but I just think the others singing voices are better. Some people say her voice her voice is generic (Lea Salonga), but I don't think so and what's special about Lea Salonga is that she also did the singing voice for the volgende princess on my list.

6. Mulan (voiced door Lea Salonga)
Even though they have different singing voices I decided to seperate them because they sound different to me. I think Lea did Mulan slightly better because her voice is meer pretty here. But my top, boven 5 have better singing voices.

5. Ariel (voiced door Jodi Benson)
I love her voice, I can understand why Eric thought her voice was beautiful. The only problem I have with her voice is that she dosen't sound like a 16 jaar old girl in my opinion mostly because Jodi was in her late 20's when she did the voice (around 25-26).

4. Rapunzel (voiced door Mandy Moore)
I think they didn't choose the best actress for the original version, but I still love her voice because before Tangled came out I was a big fan of Mandy Moore because I thought she had a lovely voice. If u haven't heard her so much I'm gonna give u a link to one of my favoriete songs of hers.
link (It's from A Walk to Remember)

3. Tiana (voiced door Anika Noni Rose)
What a perfect choice for an African American princess. It amazes me that many other African-Americans wanted to play her for example Tyra Banks and Alicia Keys. Actually Anika Noni Rose did one other kinda big role in the movie The no 1 Ladies Detective Agency. She is playing the secretary of the protagonist in the movie, check it out if u haven't seen it, it's pretty good.

2. Cinderella (voiced door Ilene Woods)
I love her voice, at first though I was sceptical if I was going to love her voice, but soon I fell for her voice, it's one of the sweetest voices I've ever heard. I wished she could have been number 1, but I think that she deserves the number 2 spot

1. Snow White (voiced door Adriana Caselotti)
Like with most of the other princess voices I was at first surprised when i heard her voice, but compared to most of the others I fell for her voice immedetly and still today I love her voice and I really hate the fact that many people hate her voice, but I can understand why. This is one of the few disney princess voices where the voice fits the princess voice perfectly. As an ending before the pictures here is a tv special from 1986 that I really love and here Adriana tells us how she got the voice. And I love how she hits the high notes, it's just simply amazing.

"This one is a great scene and I love everything about this movie. But having to choose a least favoriete scene and this would be it. The others are just better. Love Meeko and Percy! Can't believe people don't like them! :( "- AnnaKay19

It’s kind of odd that the opening scene in the movie is last in our countdown. Here is where we meet our hero AND our villain. They are setting sail from England to the new world in zoek of the three G’s; Glory, God and Gold. We also meet Thomas, a young clumsy boy on the road to becoming a man. He immediately strikes...

I dedicate this poem to all of you, who like myself, still believe. I love u all!

We’ve been fascinated with them since we were little girls.
Back when we wore our hair in ribbons and curls.
We longed to go to a fancy ball and wear a pretty dress.
Now our lives are full of worry and stress.
All we wanted was to be like the Princess in our favoriete story,
A place filled with nothing but glory.
A place where true loves kiss can break the most evil of spells.
A land of happily ever afters and wedding bells.
Where the glass slipper always fits,
And a handsome Prince who finds it easy to commit.
It’s...

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the Disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.
