Ok! So here is my review of Frozen's characters! I've already reviewed the muziek of the film, which u can read here (just copy and paste the link: link

INTRODUCTION
I'm just going to say right now....Frozen has some of the best characters of any Disney film. Why? One word: DEVELOPMENT. The characters are all so well developed, and they all have such great and complex personalities (yes, even u Hans). I found that as I watched the film, I realized every character symbolized something. Olaf represented the bond between Elsa and Anna...and Hans, the villain, represented the breaking of their bond. BUT I WILL GET INTO THAT LATER!

ANNA
Anna is the main protagonist of Frozen. She would also be one of my favoriete Disney princesses. Anna is quirky, awkward, and a little clumsy. Most importantly: she's flawed. "FINALLY!" I can hear the feminists cry. A Disney princess who isn't perfect! Of course, there have been others. But Anna's flaws are emphasized...I mean, they toon her snoring and drooling out of her mouth for God's sake. I think girls in particular will relate to Anna very well. I thought Anna could be a little rude and obnoxious at times...I think we see the sweeter side of her towards the film's end (when her primary concern is the safety of her loved ones). Anna also becomes less self centered as the film progresses. This is explained in reprise of the cut song "Life's Too Short." Anna was so desperate to be loved, that she only focused on her own feelings. During the scene on the fjord, Anna finally matures. She does NOT go to Kristoff to save herself. She goes to Elsa. Although, I was confused about one thing....after Hans reveals himself to Anna, Anna doesn't go to save Elsa. She doesn't even mention Elsa's life being in danger. She only thinks about Kristoff. But then I realized, this is still the immature Anna. She was only thinking about saving her own life at that point. When she sees Elsa in danger, this is when the switch flips. She sacrifices HERSELF in order to save her sister's life. I thought this was a great climax, probably one of Disney's best. And it goes along with the film's theme: love is putting someone else's needs before your own! One part of this scene in particular broke my heart: when Hans is standing over Elsa with his sword drawn. Anna looks hurt and confused, because her sister, who was usually cold and withdrawn, looked VULNERABLE. It probably broke Anna's hart-, hart as well, seeing her sister defeated like that. Moments before that, she zei very boldly to Hans that he was "no match for Elsa." But now she saw her beautiful, powerful sister about to be slayed door his sword! Overall, Anna's character goes along with Disney's traditional coming of age films. Yes, almost every Disney princess movie is about COMING OF AGE. Notice how almost all of the princesses are teenagers. During all of their films, they go through the things most people go through when becoming adults: they become less selfish and naive, and they slowly begin to understand how the world works. Most importantly: they find TRUE LOVE! And Anna's character shows that it doesn't have to be romantic love, it can also be repairing a broken bond with a family member.
Elsa, is my favoriete DP currently and I thought of tonen my opinions about her.

We first meet Elsa when she is sleeping and Anna wakes her because "the sky is awake" and they have to play.
She first hesitates and tells her to play door herself but when her sister asks her to build a snowman she can't resist.
This part shows Elsa's personality before being isolated. We can see that she is the elder sister and tends to act meer mature and calm, but she enjoys being with her sister and shows her playful side.
And we can also see that she isn't afraid of her powers and likes to use them.
"Shshshsh!!! Anna, can't u stay calm for a minute?"
"Shshshsh!!!...

A enquête was recently made about who was the most selfish DP, and I was shocked and annoyed at what people were saying about Elsa (and Merida... But I guess I may have to make that artikel later) being selfish.

I know this point is already being debated on the poll, so some may find it a bit repetitive to read this, but I wanted to make a really detailed examination about Elsa and her 'selfishness'.

One argument I read was: "in the beginning part when she forbids Anna to marry him, it's just because she doesn't want to see Anna have fun with others while she is alone in her own sadness...."....

It's the 3rd time I'm writing this article, main reason for doing it again is because I wanted to include Anna and Elsa and also because Within Temptation released a new album almost 2 months geleden aswell as a single with a total of 12 new songs so I'll be using some of those to the princesses, anyway hope you'll love this artikel :)

Snow White - link

This song actually suits Snow White quite well, not perfectly, but still it suits her. The titel fits her and this could be a song that someone else could sing to her. Pretty much a song that could work in a fan fiction where the story is almost...

If most of u like me have grown up with The Little Mermaid and have followed the films and TV shows, I think u realize when it comes to the story of the rebellious redhead from under the sea, it's not completely there.

Now I didn't see The Little Mermaid in theaters, but a lot of u did. It after all was the highest grossing animated film at that time. And of course, u all loved it. So when u found out that Disney was making an animated series about the movie, u of course were very excited. I myself grew up watching the series on VHS's and one of the VHS's I owned was "In Harmony."...

Elsa's name (a variant of Elizabeth) is Germanic for "noble".
Elsa is 21 years old door the time of her coronation, according to Jennifer Lee, the Junior Novelization, and the age difference from Anna.
When Elsa joins the Disney Princess line-up, she'll not only replace Cinderella as the oldest Disney Princess, but she'll be the only Disney Princess to not be a teenager.
Elsa is the first Disney Princess who is the deuteragonist to have a solo of her own. jasmijn does not count since her solo was removed from her feature film.
Despite the fact Elsa controls ice and snow, which are both...

Lately my obsession for Pocahontas is growing, and although I've already made a "Why I Love" artikel for her, I just really wanted to write something else for her. The artikel will be a scene-by-scene review, so I'll start from the beginning and talk about every scene she's in till the end, so this artikel might get pretty lengthy. Anyways, I hope u enjoy :)

We first see Pocahontas up on a cliff thinking. I love how Pocahontas thinks things through and isn't at all impulsive. We then see her dive off the cliff, as opposed to going down the safer way. This shows Pocahontas's adventurous side...

This is my third artikel on this club and I decided to write it because I haven't written an artikel like this and I had just wrote my prettiest ranking list. Remember commentaren are welcome as long as they don't insult me of another commenter. Now lets begin!

13. Tiana
I just don't really like her. Please don't say I'm racist because her race has nothing to do with it. In fact I think she's really pretty and I admire her hard working spirit. I just think she's kind of boring and her movie is also my least favoriete Disney princess movie.
