Alright, so ever since I saw Tangled way back when, my mind has kind of been in a tizzy over a lot of things. Mostly, my love for zei movie, Flynn Rider, and my desperate want to play Mother Gothel in any alternate productions of the movie.

But also: can frying pans really work the way they do in the movie?

I'm not one to usually harp upon factual things in movies, especially animated ones, but I figured it would be a ton of fun to figure out the mathematical (scientific? I'm not sure how to classify it, really) logical-ness behind fighting bad guys with keuken-, keuken appliances.

Now, if the average frying pan is, say, according to Wikipedia, 8-to-12-inches in diameter, and are made of cast iron. Using fancy mathematical stuffs and things, we can wager to guess that these pans are decently heavy. Turning to online stores, I looked at different pans, of the following weights:

4 lbs (Williams-Sonoma, 12 inches)
3.5 lbs (Amazon, 8 inches)

There weren't that many pans with weights listed, unfortunately, but I can wager to guess all average frying pans are around the 4 lbs. mark.

So that's 4 pounds of condensed force flying at someone - is it enough to knock them out? To Google we go!

An artikel from LiveScience states this: "A cubic inch of bone can in principle beer a load of 19,000 lbs. (8,626 kg) of meer — roughly the weight of five standard pickup trucks — making it about four times as strong as concrete." So, us humans are pretty resilient - but what about the big ol' KO?

Another quote from LiveScience gives us something close to the answer. "A blow that gives the head enough spin to go from 0 to 43,000 rpm in just one seconde has a 25 percent chance of knocking a person unconscious."

LiveScience is talking about punching, so we have to account for the fact that u can do a lot meer damage with a cast iron skillet versus a fist - the logical part of my brain says with that pan smacking someone, u probably have closer to a 50% chance of knocking someone unconscious.

So could Flynn and Rapunzel plausibly hit guards with that trusty pan and watch them fall like dominoes? No. Are they complete goners? Also no.

And there u have it, the math/science/word jumble behind the frying pan battles in Tangled!

Au revior!

Who is the girliest of them all?
Who is the girliest of them all?
Some people debate over this but here's my opinion. door the way I think all the princesses are feminine, if they weren't they wouldn't be added to the lineup.

1.Tomboy/10.Girly Girl-Pocahontas
In my opinion, she's the most tomboyish. She's the only princess I'd describe as masculine. She climbs trees, she jumps off cliffs and she's very athletic. Pocahontas' playful and mischievious in a boyish way. She prefers to go off playing in the woods rather doing her people's equivalent of housework. The thing is, when Pocahontas does these tomboyish things, she's doing them door choice. All the rough stuff...

Most people would agree that each of the Disney Princesses are individually unique. While most people take their stories and personalities into consideration, few tend to recognize that they each have an individual artistic style. Even though over the years their lineup has homogenized to create what we might consider Classic Disney, the design of nearly each princess was in fact inspired with a specific artist of art style in mind. I believe this is the je-ne-sais-quoi people have a hard time attributing...

Even though all the princesses are pretty and attractive, one is just abit hotter than the next. So let's get started.

10.Rapunzel
I don't know if it has anything to do with the 3D animatie but I just don't find Rapunzel hot. She looks an 11 jaar old and she's supposed to be 18. And her face isn't all that great either, her eyes are too freaking large.

9.Snow White
I guess we're not to supposed to find Snow White hot. She is only 14 but she looks a little older than that. Probably because she looks so tall compared to the dwarves. She's too cute and baby like to be hot. I like her...

Tenderly beating
Ever entreating
Constant and true'

Part 1
As u may already of noticed I am a bit of a fan of the Disney Princesses and their films. One aspect about these films that I find really interesting is the kingdoms in which their stories take place, including the buildings and the general surroundings. So I decided to write an artikel discussing each Princesses kingdom. In this artikel I am looking at Walt Disney's princesses ie. the original three.

 "The reprise is beautiful" (KataraLover)
"The reprise is beautiful" (KataraLover)

20. Part of Your World (Reprise)
This song is quick, simple, but very sweet. It shows u don't need to have a lot of metaphors and poetic devices to convey what u want. Ariel expresses her desire to become human so clearly and plainly in this song, just door the emotion and longing she conveys, and door just putting it into simple sentences.

"...the reprise is just unforgettable and beautiful." (TotallyMe105)
"Part of Your World Reprise is epic." (AllegroGiocoso)
