This is my artikel about my favourite disney princesses – I noticed everyone else did one and I figured that my opinion should be out there too. Enjoy!

10. Pocahontas
Although Pocahontas is a real peacemaker, she’s kind of boring. In my opinion, the filmmakers didn’t manage to get the balance of her personality quite right, she was meant to be someone that didn’t go with the flow, but I honestly don’t see anything stand-outish about her. Sometimes she is to responsible, and other times doesn’t take others into account.

9. Aurora
Like many other users, I don’t think Aurora was developed enough with her lack of screen time. She does have an amazing voice, and she is kind and tolerant, but she doesn’t do anything. She had to deserve her happy ending, and I don’t think that lying asleep was the way to do it.

8. Tiana
Call me a hypocrite, but I don’t like Tiana because she does too much.
She works all the time, and only ever focuses on her work, right until the very end. While this quality is admirable, and something I certainly need meer of, it makes for a boring storyline. I wish they had based this movie on the original fairytale and focused a bit meer on the characters and perhaps I would’ve liked her more.

7. Snow White
Like Sleeping Beauty, I don’t think Snow White really does much to be recognised. Though I love her bravery and optimism, I think she needs to do more. The dwarves were always meant to be the real focus of the story, so I am not surprised with the outcome, and I understand giving Snow White meer of a part might have been just a little meer adventurous the world could handle during the late thirties. She is a sweet girl with an amazing voice, but not deep enough for me.

6. Cinderella
I find Cinderella’s ability to work hard and keep her chin up great, and think she did well and truly deserve her happy ending. She is kind to everyone and kept the peace quite well. I wish she stood up meer to her family though, so she could have been happier sooner. But she is so sweet to everyone, and has such a great voice that she is hard not to love.

5. Jasmine
I love how jasmijn is a feminist, but she doesn’t go over the top, boven with it, just expects to be treated fairly. I think she is brave and strong, but still a princess at the same time. I love how she is portrayed in Aladdin, but sometimes I think she was a bit spoilt and self-centred. She was obviously intelligent though, and had a good sense of right and wrong.

4. Mulan
Mulan is so brave, and knows what to do when it needs to be done. How many girls do u think could destroy a man with a sword and a bunch of fire-crackers? She never quite fit in, but was amazing. Like Jasmine, she was a feminist only to the extent of being fair, not over the top. She has a great smile, and u can’t help but feel sorry for her. I think Disney did a great job when designing Mulan.

3. Rapunzel
I don’t see how anything can not love Rapunzel. If I had grown up with Tangled, I think Rapunzel would have been my role model. I love the character development she goes through, and how bravely she faces everyone. She wasn’t a damsel in distress, and she knew the right things to get everyone on her side. She is realistic and a dreamer at the same time, and can always figure out what needs to be done, even if it takes her a while to do so. The reason Rapunzel wasn’t number one is because she is just a little too perfect and unrealistic.

2. Belle
Belle is someone I can really look up to, and someone who taught me that u can’t judge a book door its cover. I’ve always been able to relate to Belle, and I find her a very realistic character. I love how dreamy she is, yet she is still responsible and figures out the right course of action. She is maybe a little too curious, but she managed to stay out of troubles way. She is a real human, not a fairytale princess, and other than the beast and the magical creatures, the story could actually make sense (although I’m not sure how much of a story could be left.)

1. Ariel
Ariel is an actual teenager. Nearly all of the Disney princesses get along just a little too well with everyone, are just a little too nice. Ariel is realistic, because she doesn’t get along perfectly with everyone, and wants people to know her point of view. She has a lot of imagination and spirit as well. From the beginning of the movie, we can see how much the human world means to her, because she sacrifices her life just to rescue her bag of human objects. She the sacrifices her life and the bag again to rescue Flounder. She is a little selfish and naive, but many teenagers are. She loves her family and vrienden though and would do anything to save them. Ariel is smart, creative, fun and in control of her own life. Her flaws and real personality gives her something that not all the princesses have, and she will always be my favourite princess.

There u go – feel free to disagree but this is my opinion.
