I know Anna isn't real - but I still want to wish her a Happy Birthday.
Last year, I wrote an artikel where I listed off of my 40 favoriete fan-arts of Anna. It was June 21st, a.k.a. Anna's Birthday. And I wanted to honor that door writing that article. I did the same with Elsa and I even wrote a sequel artikel to that article. Now, I'm doing the same for Anna. She may not be as populair as her sister, but she will always be just as important to me.
The rules are the same: 1.This time, I'll only lijst off 25 instead of 40; 2.I'll reuse fan-arts from the Elsa ones as long as they feature Anna; 3.I won't include official artworks of screenshots from anything she appeared in. I will only include things made door the fans, as a loving tribute to this amazing character.

1."Anna's Beauty"

I don't know the name of the artist, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying this amazing piece of work!
Anna looks both beautiful and adorable here. The contrast of bright colors with the dark colors of her clothes are really spectacular. Another detail I noticed is that the image contains both snowflakes and flowers. The snowflakes presumably represent Elsa and the flowers represent Anna. This could represent that...

Happy Father's dag everybody! The countdown has come to an end so here's the artikel about the results! Just a warning, a lot of the dads are going to have the same sentences like "We don't see this dad with his son/daughter" but that's what happens when there's dads that are either killed off early in the movie of aren't the main focus of the story :P

19, 18, and 17 Lord Dingwall, Lord Macintosh, and Lord MacGuffin.
So it's pretty clear why they were taken off first; they were really just comic relief and we didn't see them with their sons too much. We can tell they do care about their kids though and after Merida's speech when the sons agreed with Merida about doing their own thing and getting married in their own time the Lord were pretty hesitant at first (cuz, u know, each of them wanted their son married to a princess) but they respected the sons' choice.

10. Alice
Why should she be in the lineup?
Although her movie was a flop, it's still populair to this day; it's shown on tv every now and then, the movie has a lot of merchandise, had gotten a live action remake, and it has a few rides in the Disney parks. And though she's not a princess of in the lineup she's featured in Disney Princess related stuff like DP magazines and DP sing-along films and she's called the Princess of hart-, hart in the Kingdom Hearts games

Why shouldn't she be in the lineup?
She's too young to be in the lineup. That's really it. I would add because she's not royalty as well but Mulan and Pocahontas are in the lineup

9. Eilonwy
Why should she be in the lineup?
She's a princess and fans will say she's bland compared to how she was in the book but I honestly like that she spoke her mind (even if she zei something rude unintentionally) and when Taran got mad at her at one point and zei "What would a girl know about swords anyway?" she stood up for herself, reminding him if it weren't for her he'd still be in a...

So this is another artikel I'm writing based on a enquête I recently done. This time the vraag was "Do u think a princess has to be perfect?" At the time I'm writing this, 28 people stemmen 61% no, 39% yes.

People are allowed to have their own opinions and thoughts, that's something I will always respect. But when the topic of perfection is up for debate, it makes me wonder if people really have any idea of how harmful being "perfect" can be.

So some of u might ask me, what's wrong with perfection? In what way can it possibly be harmful? Well, have a seat, make yourself comfortable, maybe get yourself some refreshments, because I'll be meer than happy to explain.

Let me explain now why the idea of perfection is harmful.

So for centuries women have been taught to be polite, soft spoken, to be seen and not heard, to look as beautiful as possible, to be a porselein doll. We're told if we act a certain way that's not the "right" way we won't find husbands of we'll be made fun of for being "different". Even girls today are taught this.

I am decided to sort DPs to Hogwarts Houses. I'll illustrate this artikel with pictures where each DP best exhibits the traits of house she belongs( Gryffindors do something risky, Hufflepuffs are doing something useful of exhibit frinedliness, Ravenclaws read of explore something, Slytherins are tricking someone of dream about something). Warning: I have some unpopular opinions but I'll try to explain them. This is how I interpretent Hogwarts Houses and their values:
Gryffindors are first of all are brave, courageous, outspoken and risky. They are also often progressive, rebellious, mischievous, playful, adventurous and/or have a strong sense of justice. They are meer likely than members of other Houses be athletic and outdoorsy( but not all of Gryffindors are, look at Hermione). Their defining trait is bravery.
Hufflepuffs are first of all extremely people-oriented. They are very warm, friendly, helpful, loyal, tolerant, humble, they enjoy taking care of others and have a need to useful. They are giving and nurturing, they often create material goods. They are less likely to be jerks than the members of other Houses. My favoriete Hogwarts House( but...

Snow White - Princess Vera Wang

https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Vera-Wang/Princess-1596.html
I chose this parfume for Snow White because it consists appel, apple notes and appel, apple is a symbol of this character. It also consists chocolate and it's another why this parfume fits Snow White so much. I think that fruit and gourmand notes fit her the best because of her warm, sweet, nurturing personality and her culinary skills.
I think that Anna and Su from Mulan II( the princess in yellow) would have this parfume as their favoriete too. These three are quite similiar personality-wise.
Other parfumes that would fit Snow White - Sring bloem Creed which was originally created for Audrey Hepburn. It consists appel, apple too.

Cinderella - Diorissimo - Christian Dior

This elegant white floral parfume was created in 1950s.I strongly associate Cindy with this era and new look.

Some of the Princesses' wardrobes with a few others.
For the past ten weeks, I have been holding a countdown for the wardrobes of the Disney Princesses. This is my first artikel and countdown so please don't judge! If you're ready, here we go!!!!!
11) Snow White
Yes, the princess that started it all also starts off the list. The main reason for this is most likely because she doesn't have a lot of outfits in her movie and the two dresses she does wear, some people say are childish and not super fashionable. In my opinion, this is one of the weaker wardrobes for I dislike her servant dress and I think her princess dress is okay (not a real fan of the sleeves of the collar).
10) Pocahontas
This one is probably the most obvious to me. Only one dress, however a good amount of people find it beautiful.
9) Merida
Similar to the last two princesses, Merida has a limited wardrobe which has some mixed reviews. While her main dress received mostly good reviews, some people did find it not very special as for her princess dress, people's opinions range from loving it to hating it, especially with the wimple.

This artikel is similar to MaidofOrleans' artikel but it has a unique twist. I started writing mine a few days before she geplaatst hers. So don't worry I'm not stealing her idea of anything. Plus she knows it's different from hers. We talked about it in her article's commentaar section.

Different perspectives - my past memories, my mum's memories, memories involving a friend, other fandom perspective and recent points of view.

Feel free to use my idea to make your own version if it inspires you. Just make sure u credit me please for the original idea.

Snow White

I was so excited when I saw a sequel of Disney’s Snow White out on VHS. Nevermind that the main character looked different, wore a different dress, had a different voice and the animatie seemed meer 80’s. The dwarves sisters helped guide Snow White to the villain’s kasteel so she could save her prince from a male villain who turned his enemies into stone. It was great and I enjoyed it meer than the original. Ah youth. The ability to watch something and let everything else go over your head. Except I did come to my senses on my seconde viewing years after...

So this was a topic that was brought up a couple weeks geleden that brought on a big debate. There were people who zei a fat princess wouldn't be a good role model, that obesity kills people, that just because there's only thin princesses doesn't mean kids are going to worry about it, that the princesses have to be beautiful, etc.

I used to read a lot of boeken and watch a lot of tv growing up, mostly Harry Potter and Disney. As much as I love the Harry Potter series and Disney movies, the way fat people are depicted is really upsetting. I mean there's Dudley who's described as being as fat as a baby orca and then there the comedy relief in Disney films who are fat half the time (Mr Smee, Gus, Le Fou, etc) of there's times where the ugly people are fat (Ursula).

I've been chubby all my life and I've been made fun of for the rolls on my stomach and I've had to deal with commentaren about what I'd be eating. Half of the time it'd be from sisters and the other half from school. So seeing how fat people are depicted in media made me feel even worse about myself.

Here we go, from least favoriete to favorite, here's the Mother's dag countdown results! I know mother's dag was two days geleden but I'm not waiting a whole jaar to put up the artikel so here we go :)

13. Evil Queen
So it's pretty obvious why she was taken out first; She forced her stepdaughter to be a scullery maid and tried to have her killed (twice) just because she was jealous of how beautiful Snow White was.

12. Lady Tremaine
Again, pretty obvious why she was taken out early. Like Snow White, Cinderella's stepmother forced her to be a maid. But unlike Snow White at least Tremaine didn't actually try to kill Cinderella. That doesn't mean she's any better though because she gave Cinderella false hope of going to the ball and had her daughters tear up Cinderella's dress when it looked like Cinderella was able to go, and then locked her in her room so she couldn't marry the prince.

Okay we've officially finished the countdown so as promised here's the artikel featuring the results! This artikel will not only toon the results, each scene will include my thoughts, the thoughts of the participants, and there will be comparisons to the last time I did this countdown!

Here we go!

10. Merida crying and saying sorry to her mom
Original placement: none (it wasn't in the last countdown)
I've had mixed commentaren about this scene. There were people who zei they thought this scene was sad because Merida thought she lost her mom forever but then other people zei that Merida should have done this a long time ago. While I do agree that Merida should have apologized a long time ago, I honestly cry when Merida is hugging her beer mom and saying that she's sorry and how her mother had always been there for her. I feel like this scene could have been used at least in the middle of the movie instead of near the end.

9. Ariel crying after King Triton destroyed her collection

First let me apologize for the pictures. My life is jam packed right now and I wanted to get this artikel published seeing as that we are already past jasmijn month. So I used tiffany88's moodboards instead.

Well, it's that time again, now that jasmijn maand has ended to give u my lijst of who I think Jasmine's favoriete princesses would be. Sorry that it's a little late. As always, I don't profess to be an expert on this. Also, I eventually just ended up posting this because I couldn't really come to a conclusion.

10. Cinderella

Yeah...I think we all saw this one coming. Though it's predictable, it's not without merit. jasmijn and Cinderella are possibly the two most dissimilar princesses. While Cinderella handles most issues with tact and foresight, jasmijn is immediately temperamentally responsive and impulsive. I think Cinderella's situation would totally frustrate jasmijn as well as Cinderella's propensity to trust blindly in faith and dreams; jasmijn doesn't believe in any of that and takes matters into her own hands. Also, Jasmine's tenacity in speaking her own mind would clash terribly with...

People tend to get caught up in preconceived notions of a character based on their appearance of other surface level factors.

A prime example of this would be Snow White, people see her soft petite features, hear her high pitched voice and listen to her sing about a finding love, and they automatically assume she’s a docile weak passive shy individual. While Snow White is definitely a bit calmer and meer carefree, she’s far from the most passive princess. After surviving a deadly encounter and knowing her life is still in danger, she gets picks her herself up rather quickly. Once she finds the dwarfs’ cottage, instead of begging and pleading for their charity of using her “wicked wilds” as Grumpy puts it to charm them, she devises a plan to earn her keep through cooking and cleaning in exchange for their protection. I will say that if Snow White were a man, she would probably earn her keep door helping out in the mine of fixing something broken, but still, using her housewife-y skills, which should really be universal skills, to her advantage is pretty commendable. She’s not a pushover, she’s a stern firm but fair leader to her animal vrienden and the...

This is my lijst of favoriete DP films in order :)

11. Brave
When the commercials for this movie came out I was so incredibly excited. I've always been excited for films that feature women who can uses swords of bow and arrows (It's why I love Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean and why I love Yona from the anime Yona of the Dawn). The way the movie was advertised it looked like it was going to be about a mother and daughter who fight about what she should do for her future, there's an adventure in an enchanted forest that'd almost be like Terabithia and a lot of other badass stuff.

I go to the films and what do I get? A mother and daughter who fight about an arranged marriage and a plot similar to Brother Bear. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Brother Bear. But after I spent weeks getting pumped and having all these expectations, needless to say I was really disappointed. I think the only parts I really liked were the climax (a literal mama beer fighting evil beer is badass) and the "Legends are lessosn. They ring with truths" line

Cinderella kasteel and Wishing Well

I've written many posts about the various attractions in Disney theme parks based around the films I've been watching. Some have been prominent rides such as Snow White's Scary Adventure of Pinocchio's Daring Journey. Others have been obscure areas such as the Fantasia golfing attraction of ephemeral like Bambi's presence in the parks. Some have merely been meet and greets.

Cinderella, however, is a film whose impact on Disney theme parks is huge. It forms, after all, the centre-piece of Disney World itself - Cinderella's Castle; a massive structure visible for miles around the Magic Kingdom and the hub of the theme park. Cinderella's kasteel is also the kasteel at the centre of Tokyo Disneyland. Although Cinderella's kasteel is replaced door other princess's abodes in the other parks, this central kasteel icoon is key to Disney's image.

Cinderella's kasteel is an impressive and emotional sight for many visiting Disney World. It's iconic white and blue colouring stands out as guests walk down main straat and dominates the Fantasyland area. Because the front of the kasteel hosts the staging area for...

A Disney Tale: A young girl is forced into drudgery door her step-family, only to win the hart-, hart of the kingdom's Prince and live happily ever after.

Disney Hero: Ostensibly, the 'hero' of Cinderella is the Prince (never actually referred to as Prince Charming, despite that being what he is generally known as today. Some sources have him named as Henry.). It is he who romances Cinderella and desires her as his wife after the ball. But, actually, the real heroes of Cinderella - for me - are Jaq and Gus, Cinderella's mice friends. They are the one's who rescue Cinderella from her attic room. Jaq is also responsible for battling Lucifer and saving many of his muis friends. I love Jaq and Gus!

Disney Heroine: Cinderella is the first heroine of a Disney movie since Snow White to have a life outside the movie. As a character, she is iconic and forms an integral part of the 'Disney Princess' branding. Now, I had a lot of issues with Snow White as a character and, fortunately, the script and story for Cinderella get a lot meer right, although Cinderella's character is tied to the tropes required of her due to being a 'fairy tale princess'. I think a clear...

Thanks to Princesslullaby's recent enquête questions, I ended up looking at my own childhood vs. each Disney Princess's childhood. Some of this is just painful for me, and there is no getting around that.

My categories of adverse childhood situations (some with severe adverse conditions) are based on evaluation from the domestic violence class I took. I'll be frank. I have my own dissociation/childhood trauma.

This is an artikel where I'm defining where I'd group categories of adverse childhood experiences, specifically for the Disney Princesses. I'll also add in how each princess copes with their where-I-was-born dilemma.

Ariel and Rapunzel are right close together, because they just share the border between authoritarian parenting and authoritative parenting. Those parenting styles are similar, but are not the same.

Severe and Pervasive Childhood Oppression-- the Authoritarian Parenting Style

Cinderella, Snow White, and Ariel receive this slot.

I saw some other members do artikels like this so I figured, why not give it a try? :)

11. Aurora
Ever since I was a little kid Aurora didn't leave much of an impact. I've always hated the whole "love at first sight" deal so I really don't like that she quickly falls in love with literally the first guy she meets and then gets all upset that she can't see him anymore after only meeting him once for a few seconds. Then there's the fact that for the rest of the movie she's asleep so there's nothing else we get to know about her.

She is really pretty, I've always loved her design and her dresses and I love her singing.

10. Cinderella
Like Aurora, not much of an impact. In fact I always thought she (and her movie) was really boring. It kinda feels like she didn't have much of a personality.

I do love that, unlike in the remake, she actually tried to stand up for herself in some parts of the movie instead of just pouting and going along with whatever the stepmom and stepsisters told her to do.

Here is a lijst of my best DP role models. The most important thing to note here is that this is very much a subjective, rather than objective, list. Rather than trying to rank the princesses according to who I think is the best role model for children of other people in general, the ranking is purely according to how they serve me personally as role models.

11. Aurora

Perhaps not surprisingly, Aurora lands herself at the bottom of this list. She is gentle and kind, which are definitely qualities I appreciate, however she has little else to offer in terms of being a role model. Let's say she certainly doesn't inspire me.

10. Snow White

Snow White only has a little meer to offer than Aurora in the role model department. Her joyful, outgoing nature is something that would serve me well to take note of, and I wish I could have a little of her optimism (but not too much!). But at the end of the day, she is living in an entirely different era and mindframe to me, which limits how much inspiration I can draw from...

Hello all, long time, no see, hello to newcomers.

I've decided to take a crack at being apart of this club again, with fresher, clearer perspectives and what better way to start than to review the film of the volgende potential Disney Princess, Moana.

I'm a little rusty so forgive me if this is all over the place.

So right off the bat I gotta say this movie's very.....average.

It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length.

Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's similar to Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel but maybe that's just me being a jaded Disney fan.

I do like the fact that the story has no allusion to marriage and romance at all instead of being dismissive of condescending towards those concepts.

The songs are okay, I probably have to listen to them a few meer times to really get the hang of them. One thing I will say is that the transitions into the songs felt kinda forced and awkward in my opinion.

Princesslullaby's favorite Disney Dudes
Hello, Everyone! Today, it is my great pleasure to introduce --- Princesslullaby, fan of The maand for April 2018!!!! CONGRATULATIONS, Princesslullaby, on winning fan of the maand for April 2018!!!

It’s good to catch up with you, today, my friend. I’m proud u were selected. Do tell me some meer of the unique things (we should all learn) about you!

1. How does it feel to be fan of the Month? Surprising? Heart-warming? It’s certainly impressive.

Humbling, to be honest. I haven't been on fanpop actively in years and this is my "revival" period...it will never be as good as the renaissance but it's fun to come back with fresh perspective. This is a totally new crew of fanpoppers who are smaller but share much different viewpoints/opinions than the old crew!

2. So, who is your favoriete Princess? Why is she your favorite?

Ariel, because of how she never seconde guesses herself; she's so self-assured. I tend to be overcritical of myself and sometimes too cautious, and only recently have i started taking super spontaneous risks. I love how she has such blind faith and...

Considering that this is an artikel about fanpop, I thought it was best to let the fanpoppers speak for themselves and keep my commentaren to a minimum.

11.Snow White

The general consensus on Snow White was that while people could connect with her kindness and enduring optimism, she is just too purist and naïve bordering on clueless for anyone to relate to.

"[I] Try to be optimistic, very caring towards animals, work hard, love cooking. I think people irl see me as naive too, which I dislike. I can be a bit trusting, although that's dwindled as I get older." -Audreyfreak

"We have very little in common. I don't have her ability to enjoy housework and I'm nowhere near as trusting as she is." -Portia0623

[i]"I love her, but I don't relate to her much at all. She's the epitome of optimism and I'm meer of a realist-leaning-towards-pessimist. She's also naive (understandable, gegeven her age) and I like to think I'm a lot meer shrewd when it comes to judging situations. She's extremely inherently kind to everyone, and whilst I try to be kind I definitely don't outwardly display...

No ones audition like Gaston!
Hi guys, since I had put this artikel in the Beauty and the Beast page. So, here are my choices for those who have not read the artikel yet and for your convenience! This artikel is basically on what would really happen if Luke Evans hadn't gotten the part of muscular narcissist bully.

1. Tom Burke

Yes, Alan Rickman's godson who played Roland and Bentley Drummle in Dragon Heart: A New Beginning and the 2011 miniseries Great Expectations respectively. From these 2 roles, he could the arrogant Gaston!

2. Colin Farrell

This Irish bad boy really is the ideal Gaston, his voice is gruffy and I bet his singing will have a rock & roll quality to it if he sings both his titel song and the Mob Song.

3. Robert Pattinson

The British actor will be another perfect Gaston, it would be a break from the famous Vampire Idol and is the guy volgende door.

4. Michiel Huisman

The only Dutch actor who could play Gaston, he has the looks for Gaston. He has everything that Gaston have!

Draco Malfoy in disguise, I bet!
Well, since nobody has come up with this topic (or so it seems), I'm going to be writing about what really happen to Prince Adam's parents in the original 1991 version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

They Died Overseas

As royalties, I guess they died while they were doing their state visit. They were either assassinated of died from an unknown plague, leaving the servants to spoiled their only son Prince Adam!

They Ran Away

Upon believing that the Beast had killed their son when they return from their state visit, they ran away in fear.

The Beast Killed Them

Okay, I know this sounds morbid and cruel at the same time. But I believe their son killed them out of anger, for leaving him behind and for being in this monstrous form!

Suicide & Natural Causes

When they found out that their son was actually the beast after running away from the kasteel through the Enchantress, the King committed suicide and his wife died of a broken heart. Another morbid taste, I know!

J-Pop Moment.
Hi guys, this lijst is something like the K-Pop lijst that I made previously. Only this time, it's their Japanese counterparts. Ready?

1) Moonlight Densetsu (DALI)

Taken from the populair Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. This song has always been part of my childhood and being a Die-Hard Sailor Moon fan, the princess will support them, especially on International Women's Day!

2) Shunken Sentimental (Scandal)

This is the first time that I'm listening to it, and while doing so, I notice that it sounds like some of Paramore's songs. In particularly, Misery Business.

3) Hitohira No Hanabira (Stereopony)

Another rock band, but the vocalist is meer gentle than the lead singer than Scandal I felt.

4) Otome no Policy (Yoko Ishida)

Played at the ending credits of Sailor Moon R, the tempo is very upbringing and the lyrics is wonderful.

5) Kimochi wa Tsutawaru (BoA)

BoA is a Japanese singer who also sings Korean too, and this song reminds me of Aaliyah's songs.
