Definitely Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. But I chose Snow White because it's a more universally appealing movie/ story, as well as being the first and being a huge milestone for, not only Disney, but animation in general.

I know this is an odd choice (as it is one of the most popular Disney films), but a lot of people like it for the wrong reasons. This is a good movie NOT because Ariel/Eric is hot, or because the sidekicks are funny, or because Ariel is a mermaid, but for it's good storytelling, developed characters, great soundtrack which helps the mood of the movie, and for the lack of inconsistencies and plot holes. Especially on Fanpop

Many folks have seemed to completely forgotten about this movie, or just haven't given it a chance.

^ Something could be popular, but for shallow reasons. What I meant by underrated is not given the proper credit it gets. All of the others get the praise and credit it deserves, and is not liked for shallow reasons. I something is shallowly liked, that means it is underrated for it's great storytelling, character development, mood, etc.Something could be less popular, but it's strengths and weaknesses are given FULL credit, and this is not the case. It is either people saying The Little Mermaid sucks because they do not like Ariel, or it is good because she is a mermaid and Eric is hot

PatF would be my be t choice. I voted Mermaid instead because the strengths in PatF is more acknowledged, and not from shallow, hormonal reasons

People like it but it always seems relatively neglected next to many of the others.

Also Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, and maybe Cinderella.

And I do not see how Mulan is underrated, especially in Fanpop.

This is my absolute favorite Disney movie, but a lot of people (off of Fanpop) forget about it. She appears on very little merchandise, even group shots.

Underrated does not mean not popular. It means it's more than what people give it credit for.

Anyway, how is Mulan underrated? I adore that movie but it's not that underrated. This movie is not understood at all. It is a good movie for everyone and is just very misunderstood in general. It deserves more love.

This is a really good movie in my opinion and I don't think it deserves all the hate that it gets.

Slightly gets too much hate than given credit for. It's a great movie, it's got structure, substance, creativity and all the elements every DP film have. People acknowledge the flaws of the movie too much.

Wow, why am I not surprised that there's at least one person, who thinks TLM is underrated. What more do you seriously want? It's one of the most-popular and loved Disney movies.

Anyway, Sleeping Beauty is so underrated! I think the animation is gorgeous and the characters are sweet and interesting, especially the villains and the fairies. People just don't give it enough credit, mainly because we don't see that much of the hero and the heroine. However, to me that's not a flaw.

I love Princess and the Frog, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - they would definetly be my next choices. I just think Sleeping Beauty is such an incredible, original, amazing movie that barely anyone pays attention to it, and when most people do they're saying silly negative stuff about it. ITS AMAZING <3

At least in this spot...in general, animation fans appreciate Sleeping Beauty very much, but here it gets way too much flak (and the soundtrack deserves more respect, there is more in life than Alan Menken).

It has a gorgeous animation and pretty original score, and the characters designs are unique too. Over all a great Disney movie <3

Mulan can be considered underrated outside of Fanpop from my experience. PatF and Pocahontas deserve the criticism IMO.
