I used to get mad, now I honestly think it's miss-blame, ignorance (as in they don't know all the facts to make an informed decision), miss-blame, or both.

On the miss-blame, your mileage may vary on whether you think the corporate suits at Disney are evil, money-grubbing jerks (I'm kind of inclined to agree because even before the Disney Renaissance, a lot of leaders' motivation has been MONEYZ), but I think it's pretty clear the people actually making the films within Disney are talented, passionate, love their work, want to share their vision with the world, continue the legacy, etc.

People who say Uncle Walt was evil, racist, sexist, anti-Semetic, money-grubbing, etc? Saying that the company itself has had all these bad morals since the beginning? I say "Read a bleeping animation history book." Everyone who has ever met or talked to Walt has said that he was very kind, polite, respectful, passionate about the art, believed in treating people and animals with kindness and respect, was actually much more open-minded than his peers in how he treated his woman and minority workforce, etc.

With that said, I know he wasn't a saint. He was a flawed human being like all of us, but that's no reason to condemn him for his flaws or claim that he said or did things he didn't actually do.

So, yeah. Either misblamed, or not really knowing anything about Uncle Walt or the studio.

I don't get mad easily but when people say that disney is dumb/satanic(lol) or that the Disney heroines are dumb/weak/damsel in distress I became very angry and annoyed
