He goes out with malicious intent but has a change of heart, so not pure evil.

He isn’t that Evil. Being flawed & being evil are poles apart. He basically changed his mind and spared Snow White, he could have easily killed her. Moreover, he gives Snow a damn good idea : To flee. Even though he’s very handsome in my opinion (A mix of Eric and Ratcliffe), I don’t judge any character by his/her looks.

He feels sorry for Snow White in the end, can't blame him for that. Seeing her growing up and all that!

Just mean jerks but at least they are not responsible for any death. I am not sure that the Hunstman and Iago have never killed anyone.

He had a change of heart even under the threat of death. The stepsisters actively chose to bully and abuse someone, even there own family.
