I can see it. They're both playful and friendly, but they know when to be serious. Ariel could totally fall in love with Flynn.

Because he's just like her! Good looking, smart, adventurous, heroic, gets into lots of trouble, feel like they don't belong and that there's so much more that's waiting for them. Plus the fact that they fell in love with their love interest pratically the same way.

I would say Flynn because he's so playful but the bad part is that he's 26 and shes 16 plus all Ariel cares about is looks so that's a bonus

like he's singing/dancing on the ship and Ariel is in 'love at first sight' because he's handsome, loves music and seems friendly enough so she'd probably want to be on land with him.

He has similiar characteristics with Eric. They're both looking for love and they fought for their love. And he's gorgeous too.

Different personalities? Uhhhhh........ pretty_angel92 when was the last time you watched The Little Mermaid and Aladdin? Their personalities are so much alike that they could be male and female versions of themselves.

most likely, Phillip fell in love with Aurora the same way, and he's a good man, has some similarities with Eric.
