This kiss was great. Except they got interrupted.

Rapunzel and Eugene shouldn't have gone out before this kiss.

This kiss really needs to go soon. Like I said, there is no spark, build up, interest, and the musk did not really reflect the feelings at the moment as well as it could. The kiss is not really passionate either. I just don't see of feel the spark when I see their kiss. You also don't see how they feel after the kiss ends.

I know I said Aurora and Philip before, but like Jayden-G said, this kiss has no emotion in it

I think Ariel and Eric has a ton of emotion she is walking out of the water and is finally human for good. He lifts her up and twirls her around then kisses her - what the hell are you guys talking about " No emotion"??. NO BUILD UP - her father turns her into a human, puts his trident into the water and there is a bunch of sparkles and her tail transforms, I would say that is quite a build up.

@ Jayden, " you don't see how they feel after the kiss ends?"- They get married and look at each-other lovingly. I respect your guys' opinions, but they are coming out of no where and they just aren't true cause the exact opposite is right in front of you guys. I'm sorry I will defend the truth and Ariel and Eric, or Ariel NOT being selfish, or The little Mermaid movie if people are having an opinion about it that they cant back up or is a little iffy.

Also I know that I don't have to participate, but haven't we done these BEST kiss, couple, hair, smile, princess, prince, etc. a million times. Are we really out of poll ideas?

It's kind of flat. I love the happy moment when she comes out of the water in that dress, but their kiss just isn't my favorite. At least they finally did!

I agree with Persephone713 about the countdowns. They're great, and we can now include Brave/Merida, but it'd be fun doing one on something that hasn't been done.

So sad that Punz/Eugene left. Their kiss was so passionate, and I just felt so happy that they both were free, Punz from her hair/tower, Eugene from his old life of lying. Ariel and Eric's kiss just leaves me feeling nothing. I'm happy they're together, but I don't feel the passion. I hope Poca and John don't go. I love how it's a forbidden kiss, though it is unfortunate it got interrupted.

I do love how Ariel & Eric's kiss transitions from kissing on the beach to kissing on the wedding ship so that's probably why I didn't pick it. I think the lack of magic and the circumstances surrounding Pocahontas' kiss factored my decision...plus I'm not really a big fan of Pocahontas.

@Persephone713, since this is about Love's FIRST Kiss and not BEST kiss, then no, we do not see the ending of the first kiss and their reaction afterward. There is no indication as to how much longer the wedding took place after the first kiss and they could have had many kisses in between. I can back up my stuff; you don't have to worry about that on me though. And I never said they had no emotion. He twirled her and kissed her like *bam*. Maybe it was the score that made me felt like that, but there was not that much spark. No "Ariel. Eric. I'm so glad to see you again" and then they move close and have that look in their eyes and kiss. Either way, to me it is the one with the least passion and spark and musical build up. I will always and continue to respect people's decisions, but I don't come up with mine out of thin air. As long as you have proof and I have proof, we can have a polite debate. No need to "What the hell" because if I do that, it will be a lot of curse words that Fanpoppers will feel uncomfortable reading.

Sometimes there doesn't need to be words for there to be alot of passion. I said I respect your opinion, but I am questioning the way you are backing it up because the things you are saying are there in the movie. You dont like it thats fine. But if what you dont like about it is there , then I don't get how you could hate it.
Its also pretty obvious that they got married right away, that is why there is a transition to the wedding. Her last words are meant to be special- a parting to her father " I love you daddy". As Ursula would say " there is alot of body language" and that works just as well as words. Sometimes better.

@Persephone713 I created a poll in which I asked people which countdown they would like to do. All of the options except this one were ones that I had never seen done on here before. However, people wanted to do this countdown so that's what I'm doing.

By the way, That is their true FIRST KISS as well. They got knocked over in the boat and she turned back into a mermaid before Eric could kiss her on the ship, and then Ursula took her back into the Ocean, so that is another reason why there is ALOT of passion with Ariel and Eric.

@ MaidofOrleans- sorry, I was just pointing out that we should spread our horizons instead of doing the same polls over and over and over. Cause I have been on this site for three years and I cant tell you how many times I have been asked this question. But I still participate, cause yes I choose to even though I dont have to. It was a suggestion I had- Besides these BEST of or WORST of are kind of silly.

I agree with you. I wanted to do the other countdowns more, and I'm definitely planning on doing a couple of them. My last countdown was accuracy of DP movies versus original fairytales and I thought it was very interesting.

Just my least favorite here because you ask to pick the least favorite. XD
