This is hard. I really wanted Mulan to make it to the top 2 but you guys made better arguments for her to leave than I had for Tiana to.

Tiana is persistent and doesn't take crap, typically. She's used to having to work hard to prove herself but if she had a wicked stepfamily would she REALLY want to stay? I think she would for family or if it got her closer to her goal. She generally gets along with people although she's stubborn, so I don't see her getting into a lot of arguments, though she'd make sure to always stand up for herself.

You guys always call Aurora weak (I still don't know why), but she's very strong. I'd like to see anyone else get told their life is a lie, have the huge duty of ruler forced on them, told to marry a stranger for political reasons, and not throw a tantrum at least. She cries like anyone might but she does it instead of being selfish and running off. That takes more guts than some of the butt-kicking heroines have.

They're both strong, but Aurora would be a lot like Cinderella and keep her mouth shut to have a home, probably.

Tiana is very hard working obviously but I think she needs a goal to stay in the abusive househould.

tiana is really hard working willing to do anything for her late father, so a lot like cinderella, Aurora had it easy compared to those 2, i am not saying she is weak i'm just saying she is not the most like cinderella, Aurora is but i'd imagine she'd cry a lot, plus who cries when they find out the're a princess

I think Tiana would run off after a while. She'd only stay if it was furthering her dream, which it wouldn't be. Also she'd stand up for herself a bunch and she might get kicked out for that.

FabulousFan- who wouldn't cry when you find out you can't be with your dream guy because you have to live a life you don't want? That's like being OK with getting taken away from everyone you love and forced to take a responsibility you don't want because you get money and fame in exchange. Aurora doesn't care about material things, she just wants her old life and Philip.

Plus, Aurora doesn't even fully understand what a princess is, she's a simple peasant girl, and she's just found the man of her dreams. (literally)

Anyway, Aurora isn't weak, that has nothing to do with this, she's obedient, and I think her personality is similar to Cinderella. (Why do people think that personality means the situation they're in) Tiana is definitely a hard worker, but I feel like she'd be quicker to leave, and go after her dreams.

Tiana is a hard-working, strong-willed woman. She managed to get through the oppressive nature of her society of the time, so I think she would be able to get through the oppression and abuse of these households. In my honest opinion, I think Aurora would eventually have a mental breakdown, she's not as strong-willed as Tiana.

exactly tiana is too strong willed so she would get kicked out or choose to leave. aurora is very loyal and responsible, she couldnt stand to leave her family's house or animal friends like Cinderella and know she couldnt handle it on the street so she would be wise and stay imho.
also she managed to learn that her childhood was a lie and she has an arranged marriage without having a breakdown. just because she cried doesnt mean shes emotionally unstable you guys O_o

also unless racism never existed Tiana did have to put up with oppression alot and probably learn to just take it...

Honestly, I think that Aurora would run away under such treatment. When she was living with the fairies her life was good, although dull, so she had no reason to leave. Tiana I think would probably hold out, she seems more used to hard work than Aurora anyway.

Ugh, she cried over the love of her life was being separated from her! Why does this make her emotionally unstable and weak, while Ariel did the same, but is apparently so much stronger?!

Ariel didn't do the same thing as Aurora though... and people don't say Ariel is strong. Do they? o.O Ariel first cried because her whole collection got destroyed, there were objects she risked her life for. The second time was because she was going to belong to Ursula and all hope was gone.

I don't think Aurora is weak, just weaker than most of the Princesses tbh. Although, I do think she could survive in the abusive household because she's very obedient and she's unable to really stand up for herself.
