I recently watched SB for the first time in a while, and so now I think they should have gone earlier. Phillip is attracted to her voice and her personality, and Aurora is attracted to the man in her dreams. It's not got much to do with looks or lust.

^ Adding to that, Aurora dressed like a peasant....not many princes fall for peasants, which shows that Phillip didn't care for looks

prussiaducky- Phillip didn't care about social status. But I do think he cared for looks (if we don't see it as a fairy tale). Idk which couple to pick but I'm sure it will get easier later rounds.

Again, Aurora and Phillip really come across as only emotionally romantic to me. It melts my asexual heart. xD

^ dclairmont I suspect it's because of the emotional intimacy and familiarity of Aurora and Phillip's interactions (they dance together, hold hands, and cuddle under a tree), coupled with Aurora's more mature and elegant appearance and demeanor than Snow White (who does come across as more cute, innocent, and childlike by comparison).

Just my guess.

They're not all that lustful. They come across as more romantic to me - singing in the woods, holding hands, resting their heads against each other.
