Meg is a princess to me. Besides she's my favorite Disney female character and the one I relate the most... Hercules is Zeus' son and Zeus is a kind of king, the king of Mount Olympus. He wanted to be mortal, but he's still his son, so he's a sort of prince and Meg even married him in a episode of Hercules Series. She deserves to be considered a princess. Plus, she's beautiful and she sings, she has everything to be in the lineup.

Meg isn't a princess either (she should be considered one, but Disney doesn't). Jane is a far better role model with a personality much, much more suitable for the Disney Franchise.

I love her to death, but I would never consider her a princess. When someone marries a god (assuming Meg marries Hercules) they become a goddess, not a princess. If Jane had married Tarzan, she would have been named queen, considering Tarzan was the King of the Jungle after Kerchak died.

Jane's personality fits the Disney Princess criteria a whole lot more, and she's a much better role model. Also, she is technically royal, because she married Tarzan, and he's king of the Jungle. And don't give me that, "But a queen can't be a Disney Princess" rubbish, because look at Elsa!

Why are some only stating who they like more? That's not the question. Anyway IMO Meg should win; she sings, is a more developed character, she would bring more to the lineup than Jane, etc. True, Jane is a better role model and I think her movie is miles better than Hercules but but but, Meg blends in better with the DPs.

Well, her personality isn't that different from the rest of the DPs so she wouldn't add diversity to the line-up (she's educated, artistic, clumsy and funny like Rapunzel). Also, she has the same color scheme with Belle, brown hair and yellow dress and even though they look completely different, I remember myself separating the princesses from their dress and hair colors when I was young, so it can be very confusing. I mean, Disney thought Esmeralda looks like Jasmine, then Belle and Jane are like twins!
