PrincessLD picked Beast is dead:
This scene, even thought this is a death scene, it was less emotional for me compared with the other ones.

Elimination is by COMMMENTS, not percentages.
Thank you for your comments.

Only her dress is destroyed. The others have a death scene.

It's really hard to decide between those last four (well, there is no question for me that snow white's scene is the saddest, but the other three are pretty much on the same level) - last time we were at this point, I voted Cinderella out, because it was the only scene which didn't involve a death. But I think, this time around I go for length - and Belle's scene is the shortest (great voice performance, though).

It's not so sad. It was her fault, she ate a poisoned apple, taken from a total stranger!

@BraBrief I feel for the dwarves in this scene, not for Snow White - she doesn't realize what's going on either way. But the poor, bawling dwarves get to me every time, especially when Grumpy is losing his composure.

It's still a sad scene, but not as much as the others. (More of a rage-jerker for me. Seriously, fuck you, Lady Tremaine)

And to be fair to Snow White, it's not really her fault. The Queen played on her naivetie and kindness and innocence -- she knew what was going to happen.

it is really dumb that this is still in here. It should have gone a long time ago. How can you compare a death of a loved one to a death of an ugly dress.

Agree with LightingRed. The others are much more emotional and sad. The dress could be repaired.

We know she's going to the ball..

And before I get the "I hate the we know ___ argument again"... Yeah, for me, a scene is not sad if I know it'll turn out happy in the end.

So what? I knew the others would turn out happy and they made me cry! It's not that we know, it's the emotion of the scene. I voted for it because it's not as emotional, please at least have a better reason than "We know it'll turn out happy".

yes snow white did her death to herself, the dwarfs told her not to talk to strangers and she did but cinderella's is just a dress! not a death

Kataralover: Why should I have a "better reason"? That's my reasoning. I don't feel sad for Cinderella b/c I know she'll get to go to the ball, anyway. That's my opinion, and it can't change. I do not feel sad if I know the ending will be happy. You guys can have a different opinion, but please don't bash mine.

Swanpride picked Beast is dead:
@heathersvan Did you really think that Eugene and the Beast would die? Did you really think that the dwarfes would burry snow white, and that the prince would never come to wake her up?
We always know that it will end up good eventually, since we are genry savvy (and if we aren't, we don't know that Cinderella will go to the Ball). So your reason is a bad argument, because is can be used on every single scene left.
To me, it's more important how the scene is build up, the score used, the voice acting, how long it is, if there is someone crying in the scene. (that's the reason I think snow white's is the saddest - everybody is not only crying, but sobbing, the organ music on top of it - for all the other scenes I have to be in the right mood by now, because I have seen them so often, but snow white gets me every single time).

It fails at making you sad, unlike Ariel watching Eric going to get married (I can't believe that one left! I mean, her silent sobbing, c'mon!). This scene lacks something

heathersvan picked Cinderella's dress is been destroyed:
@Swanpride: My point is, if I don't feel sad while watching certain scenes, whether anyone else thinks it's for a good reason or not, that doesn't change the fact that I don't feel sad. And if I, personally, don't feel sad while watching a scene because of my own reason (being that I know that it'll turn out happy), then it is a perfectly legitimate reason, whether or not anyone else feels the same way. I can't really change the reason why I do not feel sad, as I don't control my emotions. Therefore, my reason cannot be "bad" because it is legitimate.

And that does not rule out all the Disney scenes. I felt sad at the end of Pocahontas when we know that Poca and John will never be together. I felt especially sad during the Fox and the Hound when the grandmother left Todd in the forest because I wasn't sure if they'd ever be reunited. These are the moments *I* feel sad. Whether or not anyone else agrees does not change my reasoning. So, not only am I not able to change the reasons that I feel the way I do, I don't really think I should have to because others do not agree.

And I'm sorry if I sound harsh. I don't mean to!
